Well we are back up and running after a well earned break from Christmas with loads going on. First of all we are very pleased to launch a new range of ready to cook meals which we have paired with Oven and Hobs ready to cook desserts. Good morning we are up and open bright and breezy this morning. We have fresh bread, fresh sausages, bacon etc. If you’re looking for a centre piece turkey, cockerels, roasting joint or simply cocktail sausages and sausagemeat we have it all. Fresh pork pies, pies and sausage rolls are just coming out of the oven too. Open 8-1pm today.

Dont forget that we are open today 8am - 1pm. Its a great opportunity to pop in to buy your cheese and pork pies, all of which will have dates on past Christmas. We will have bread in today, plus we still have a few lovely handmade Christmas Puddings. And yes we do have our lovely pate in stock: pork, orange and chorizo or pork and black pudding. When picking up your order please be patient. We have a lot of orders going out on the 23rd and 24th December, there may even be a queue! We've got together with our local coffee house Remington's who will be taking orders for coffee and tea whilst you wait.

Please do not come a day early for your order, as unfortunately it wont be ready.

Ready for Christmas we will have Fosse Meadows homemade stuffing available in 3 different flavours:

- Apple, sage, hazelnut and orange
- Lemon, thyme and cranberry
- Sh*tatke mushroom, hazelnut and rosemary

Their simple and delicious gluten-free stuffing is handmade in their kitchen. It’s the perfect trimming for any of their free range birds including turkey, goose, cockerel and chicken.

Are you hosting a Christmas party? If so then Tempus Charcuterie is a must have for your guests to try. Made in Weybridge where they butcher, ferment, cure and age all of the products, its a foodies must have.

We have 4 great flavours for your to try:

British Charcuterie Board - Sliced mixed selection featuring a mix of signature products

House Salami - this is flavoured solely with black pepper, is fermented for 2-3 days and then aged for 2-3 months. This cured salami is very much made in the French style of a saucisson sec while displaying a unique touch.

Smoked Coppa - the coppa, or pork collar, is a cut synonymous with charcuterie the world over. It has a deep, rich flavour and a wonderful texture. Once cured it is flavoured simply with black pepper, its then gently smoked over chestnut wood. It is then air-dried for 3-4 months and then ready to enjoy.

Achari Fennel Salami - The spice mix for this salami with black pepper is based on an Indian recipe for pickling going back hundreds of years. This is combined with traditional methods for fermenting, and aging which come together to create a genuinely unique, contemporary product.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to everybody that supported us at this years cheese festival. We moved the event to a large venue but it would seem that this still wasnt big enough, with over 700 people attending! We apologise if you had to que but im sure you will agree it was worth the wait.

Lots to learn from this year and hopefully next year will be better again still. All thats left to say is enjoy your cheese over Christmas and New Year. And dont forget that we stock most of these cheeses all year round.

It might be stormy outside but the CHEESE FESTIVAL is on today, 10am - 4pm! Kibworth Grammar School Hall! We are so excited for today 🧀 🇬🇧!

We have lots of British Cheese for you, alongside lots of delicious cake, coffee from , cookery course info and canapés from , all topped off with amazing red wine wine from Bordeaux !

It’s a must visit Christmas event! Can’t wait to see you all here !
