☀️ Heat Alert This Weekend! ☀️

Hey pack! With temperatures rising this weekend, we want to remind all our amazing clients to take extra care with your pups.

Here are a few quick tips to keep your dog cool & safe:
• Walk early in the morning or after sunset
• Test the pavement with your hand – if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for their paws!
• Keep them hydrated with fresh, cool water
• Avoid long walks – short potty breaks are best
• Stay in the shade or inside with the fan/AC on

If your appointment requires you to walk down in the heat, please don’t risk it – just give us a call or message. We’re more than happy to reschedule. Your dog’s health and safety always come first. 🐾

Stay cool out there, and give those pups some extra belly rubs from us!

•Casey is away from late morning on Friday 27th June and will return to work the morning of Wednesday 2nd July
•Our price increase is now in full effect, as everyone that pre-booked their appointment bed April has had their scheduled appointment

🐾 We Need Your Input! 🐾

As some of you know, we’ve been diligently working behind the scenes getting a new automated booking system set up to make everyone’s life easier. It allows for online booking, automated recurring bookings, easy deposit system, and multiple reminder messages too.

We’ve recently been informed that our online booking system provider will soon be introducing a £1.50 fee per booking. This fee goes directly to them — not us — and helps cover the cost of maintaining their service.

We know many of you love the ease of booking online, but we also want to make sure it’s still the right fit for everyone.

So we’d love to know:
💻 Would you still use online booking with the added £1.50 convenience fee?
OR
📞 Would you prefer to contact us directly (by phone, message or in person) to avoid the fee?

🐾 Salon Update – Jess Is Now Self-Employed! 🐾

We wanted to share a quick reminder and update with all our lovely clients!

Our brilliant apprentice Jess is now officially qualified and has transitioned into working on a self-employed basis here at the salon! 🎉

What does this mean for you?

💬 For most clients, not much will change—especially if you don’t mind who you book with. Jess will continue grooming in the salon as usual, just now running her own diary and growing her own client base.

🐩 If you do have a preferred groomer (whether it’s Casey or Jess), we strongly recommend booking at least two appointments in advance, as our overall availability has essentially halved.

🌙 Clients who prefer evening or weekend slots will notice the biggest impact, so please plan ahead where possible.

🐶 Clients with multiple dogs will now have to decide whether they want their appointments completed by one groomer which will extend appointment time, or split between us so as your appointment time remains shorter

💸 A quick pricing reminder:
Casey’s prices have now increased by a minimum of £5 per dog. Some appointments may have increased more if necessary, however customers will be individually contacted if this is the case.
However, if you book in with Jess, you’ll continue to pay last years price rate for the time being—so it’s a great option if you’re happy to support a newly qualified groomer and save a little too!

Thank you so much for your continued support and understanding as our team grows and evolves. We’re so excited for Jess and this next chapter, and we know your pups will continue to be in great hands. 🐾💕
