✨🐣Easter Break Announcement 🐣✨

Our salon will be closed over the Easter weekend to enjoy a little R&R — it’s the only extended break we take all year, so we’ll be stepping away from the scissors and the screens! 🛁📴

Enquiries won’t be monitored during this time, but we’ll be back soon, refreshed and ready to pamper your pups again! Salon reopens Tuesday 22nd May as usual 🐶

Oscar the Westie almost resembling a Westie today (he’s not the most cooperative 😅)

Jessica has her final exam tomorrow (Wednesday 16th) so we’ll be closing the salon through the middle of the day to allow her to focus. The landline will be silenced but all other methods of contact will be available

We’re sure she’s going to smash it with flying colours, watch this space 👀

🐾 A Little Update From the Salon 🐾
We’ve got a small change coming up that we wanted to keep you in the loop about!

Our lovely apprentice Jess is due to qualify very soon (woohoo! 🎉), and once she does, she’ll be joining us in the salon as a self-employed groomer as of June 1st. We’re so proud of how far she’s come, and excited to see her grow her own client base here!

So what does this mean for you?
💬 Not much will change for most of you—especially if you’re happy to book with whoever is available. But if you do have a preferred groomer (either myself, Casey, or Jess), we highly recommend booking at least two appointments in advance. That’s because our availability is essentially about to be cut in half.
🌙 Evening and weekend clients will feel this change the most, as those slots are in high demand.
🐶 Anyone with multiple dogs in a booking will now have to choose to book in with either myself, or Jessica, or we can work together to keep your appointments shorter but they will have to be paid in cash so we can split the workload/pay accordingly

💸 A quick note on pricing:
• My (Casey’s) prices have increased slightly.
• BUT anyone booking in with Jess will retain the current apprentice prices for the next year —so now’s a great time to stick with her or give her a try!
• Jessica is still offering heavily discounted grooms before she qualifies (be quick, her exam is booked for April 16th and we expect her to pass first time with flying colours!)

🐾 Important Update for My Wonderful Clients 🐾

Hey everyone, Casey here - I just wanted to keep you all in the loop. Due to some unexpected personal matters and upcoming medical investigations, I’ll need to reschedule some appointments. I truly appreciate your patience and understanding as I work to keep disruptions to a minimum.

To help manage this, I’ll be temporarily pausing new client bookings — this way, I can focus on my existing clients without having to rearrange too many appointments.

That being said, Jessica (our amazing apprentice) is still taking on new clients and offering discounted grooms until she qualifies in mid-April! So, if you or someone you know is looking to book in, she’d love to help!

🐾Upcoming Price Increase🐾

Believe us, we dread making this post as much as you do! It’s possibly the hardest part of running a business, as I know we all struggle with rising costs however it’s essential to keep the doors open and continue to give the service you’ve all come to know and expect

As I’m sure you’re aware, the minimum wage is increasing dramatically again this year for a second year in a row, as well as a HUGE increase to be seen for our water bill (which will certainly affect us considering how much we use!) as well as all other rising costs, such as rent, electric, gas, and all our supplies have increased dramatically too

We appreciate your continued support and want to be upfront about some necessary changes. To maintain the high-quality service you expect, we will be adjusting our prices by a minimum increase of £5 as of April 1st. The price increase will reflect the time and resources required to pamper your POOCH, so those of you that have larger dogs, or appointments that take longer may see a slightly bigger increase. This decision allows us to cover rising costs while ensuring we can continue providing the best possible experience.

That said, we understand that price increases can be challenging, so we’re excited to offer an alternative!

Our skilled apprentice Jessica will be offering select services at a discounted rate until she qualifies in mid April. This gives you a more budget-friendly option while still receiving quality care. Jessica will be maintaining our current price scheme (there may be some exceptions if you are particularly underpriced at the moment) once she qualifies, so just drop us a message if you want to swap over to using Jessica’s service instead

Norman was used as a demonstration dog on one of the stalls, with .animals and he did super well. I couldn’t be more proud of how he handled the day, considering he’s never been in an environment so busy
