I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone who follows my page a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New year 🎊
Although the page has been quiet this year (resolution to keep up with it more in 2023!) I haven't been! I'm very lucky to be able to do a job that I love so a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me whether it be for riding, teaching, recommendations or being there on a personal level. I really couldn't keep my little business going without you all 🐴😊

An absolute pleasure to be helping with this gorgeous young chap ❀️ his owner Shaz Mctear has put in all of the groundwork and the aim of the first couple of sessions has been to help him gain trust with me being on board and encourage him to go forward. He is a very powerful horse with a huge movement and a lovely personality to boot 😍 once he has the confidence to open up and learn to balance with a rider he will be something else πŸ’“

Afternoon all.
Due to personal reasons I've been off the radar for the last few weeks. Apologies to those who have messaged regarding lessons and I haven't been able to respond to or been vague about when I could commit to booking lessons. I am hoping that things can now return to normal so I will either contact you or feel free to drop me a message.
Thank you so much for your continued support, I can't wait to see you all again and of course your lovely horses 🐴😊

Good news 🎊
Having looked at the latest statement it looks like I can begin teaching on a 1 to 1 basis again following all current covid protocols 😊
If your horse is stabled on a livery yard I will require written confirmation (text /whatsapp/messenger is fine) confirming that your yard owner is happy for me to attend.
Those who have lessons already booked for next week please contact me to confirm we can go ahead.
Hopefully I'll see you all soon!

Good evening all.
Despite my initial optimism regarding being able to continue teaching during the latest lockdown unfortunately this isn't going to be the case and my work once again must stop πŸ˜”
Please all keep in touch and above all else stay safe

Good evening all 😊
I will be taking a short break from teaching over the Christmas period, 24th-27th and 31st-3rd Jan inclusive. I will be available as normal in between those dates.
I'd like to take this opportunity to wish all of my clients a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and prosperous 2021. Thank you all for your continued support over the last 12 very unusual and difficult months.

Afternoon 😊 I hope you are all well in what is a very difficult time.
I am for the moment continuing to work as usual, obviously this is open to change according to government guidelines. I have however made the decision following the latest BHS statement to stop, for the time being, conducting jump lessons. We all know that handling and riding horses in any capacity carries it's own risk, however at a time when the NHS and it's staff are under immense pressure I feel that any unnecessary increase in risk would be irresponsible on my part.
On the plus side we all know that good flatwork is the foundation of successful jumping so by the time this is over you will all have beautifully balanced, supple and responsive horses!!!
Hopefully I will see all of my regulars as usual in this and coming weeks so to you and also those who follow my page but I don't see so regularly take care, look after yourselves and your families.
Andrea

All horse racing in the UK has been cancelled today due to a breakout of equine influenza in horses that have raced at Ayr and Ludlow yesterday.
Please share this post so everyone can be aware of the symptoms and what to do if they occur.

Apologies to anyone that I haven't got back to regarding lessons during the latter part of the week. Unfortunately my dad was taken ill so my time and attention has been taken with spending time with him. Hopefully I will be back up and running before too long and will get back to you all.
Thank you for the continued support. Andrea.

Good evening all 😊 just a quick note regarding cancellations. I have always and will continue to be fair when emergencies crop up which make going ahead with a planned lesson impossible. However, when a lesson is booked I plan my time around that so to be cancelled on the day means a loss of income as I do not have time to fill the space. All lessons cancelled on the day, other than in the case of an emergency, incur a charge of the full price of the lesson to be paid either via bank transfer or on the day of the next lesson booked. In the event of the horse being unable to continue with a lesson I have travelled to then that is also chargeable at the full rate. Should the weather be such that we mutually agree that it would be unsafe or unproductive to go ahead then no charge will apply. This will only apply up to an hour before the scheduled lesson time. It only takes a minute to stop raining!
I try to be fair both with my pricing and with the time I offer both during the lesson and after should anyone need help or advice. In return I ask that my time is respected and if a cancellation is necessary I am given adequate notice to enable me to fill the slot.
On a happier note, I have a fabulous job and many thanks to all of you who continue to support me on here and by having lessons. It's much appreciated and here's to many more happy teaching and riding hours 😁

A very good read. And only use bandages if you are skilled at putting them on 😊
