Debdale is feeling rather in the Christmas spirit this weekend, our horses have asked for Christmas races if you will all join them while they wear tinsel to celebrate the Christmas cheer 🎄

Naughty elf has been causing us some right Mayhem on the yard in the weeks running up to Christmas in which we will share with you on Christmas Day of him right in the act of what he’s been up to… you don’t want to miss out!

Elf brought us more stock in just in time for Christmas 🎅 we have more hats, croc charms and jumpers in store as well as a new one on the block head band/ear warmers.
Elf has also brought our horses a Christmas treat! They have all ben kitted out with a new numnah each to match your Debdale jumpers, as well as a salt lick in which all our ponies love 🥰

We can’t wait to see you over the weekend and don’t forget our activities we have over the half term in which elf will be joining us!
There is still spaces, unfortunately jumping day is fully booked out.

We look forward to seeing you and spreading the Christmas cheer 🎅🎄

Well…

Our elf Elliot has come in while leaving Eddie at the North Pole 🧝he’s brought us some more merchandise in. He even pinched cinnamon to have a photo shoot. 📷

We are super excited to announce we have matching numnahs to match your rider jumpers, he’s even been hanging out around our pony barn and causing havoc. See if you can spot him when you visit for your lesson 🐴

Guess who’s back …

He’s taken a special visit today, we found him and his friend Elliot had left us a surprise following Eddie the elf had landed him self in the hay with our activities that we will be running over the Christmas period. ⛄️

Please take a look they will all be live as of tomorrow on ecpro so you can get booking in.

Elliot and Eddie have flew back to the North Pole and said they will be back for the Christmas holidays so keep your eyes peeled! 👀

We would also like to make most of our Customers aware on some sad news that Amelia our instructor on Saturday will have her last day with us tomorrow!

In which I’m sure you can all agree is sad she has been apart of the Debdale family for a long time. Some of you may still see Amelia as she will still be a part of us as she has Nelly and Norman here so we haven’t got rid of her that easily. 🤗

We will miss her hugely though as she brought so much to all of us, as you can see the simple smiles she brought to every child was worth every second, we will truly miss her kind, funny, helpful but knowledgeable personality that made the day just go a little quicker.

I can honestly say from all of us that the Debdale girls will miss you hugely Amelia, but it’s time to go it into the big wide world now. We’re thankful we have been able to be apart of your growing up and sculpture you into the person you are today! Go and smash it, We’re wishing you the best of luck to life, thank you for being apart of the Debdale family 🫶🏻🤍

We have been super busy and our 3 new recruits In the school are smashing the riding school Job.

We have placed more orders but we was also flat out and busy in our little shop with Debdale merchandise.

Well what a fantastic Halloween half term we have had 🎃👻

We have been extremely busy at Debdale, we’ve been go go go! With every activity full, clipping all riding school horses, 3 new horses having health checks and being added to our licence and not to forget our horses have had a top spec check in with all being weighed and feed charts done for them. We’ve even got a defib being fitted this weekend in which Jordan has been hugely busy fitting this into the ground!

We will be uploading our Halloween video of what we got up to! So keep your eyes peeled 👀

Our croc buttons are ready to purchase so please make sure you message Megan and ask our girls.
Be quick to miss disappointment we also have new stock in with jumpers of embroidery in which we can do vinyl printed or embroidered of your choice, we also have hats in stock.

Important Update on Jumping Lessons at Debdale

Dear Debdale Customers,

We would like to express our sincere appreciation for your continued support and enthusiasm for our jumping lessons. Due to the high demand, we will be implementing a limit on these private lessons to ensure the well-being and proper care of our horses.

Our primary goal is to enhance your riding experience by providing you with opportunities to develop new skills and face challenges. All our riding school horses are capable jumpers, and we aim to pair you with the appropriate horse to help you achieve your riding goals.

If you are interested in scheduling Private jumping lessons, please reach out to Megan, who will do her best to accommodate your request. Lessons will typically take place in the indoor arena within jumping, depending on weather conditions now we’re coming into winter. We also plan to offer more group jumping lessons in which Megan, Katie and jess will have a well thought out challenging lesson plan for you the rider, so no one misses out which will be bookable via ecpro. However, please note that not all requests for lessons may be fulfilled, as they are subject to weather conditions and the welfare of our horses.

We kindly ask for your understanding regarding our horse allocations. Our decisions are based on careful consideration of each horse's workload, rider compatibility (including weight and height), and the need to provide opportunities for all customers to ride each and everyone of our horses. The well-being of our horses is our top priority, and we ensure they receive adequate breaks to maintain their health.

We are excited to announce that we anticipate the arrival of three new horses to our riding school shortly. As always, we will thoughtfully pair these horses with riders to create the best experience possible. Please note that, at this time, Penny Black is temporarily out of work due to slowly working her way towards retirement.

Please take your time to read upon our weight limit which you will find at our mountain block and office in which each horse is subjected to carry including tack, we can’t stress how paramount this is for their health.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we continue to prioritize the welfare of our horses and the quality of our lessons to you the customer.

Debdale customers we hope you can all support us with the change of price in lessons, we have tried to hold of as much as we can but as you all know the cost of living is expensive, our feed, hay, vet, farrier, wages has all gone up in which we are having slight price increase on lessons.

Lessons that are consisting of a structured lateral lesson with the three paces of the school of walk,trot & canter will be increased. Due to the level of riding the rider is at and the knowledge of lessons being brought forward to you the client.

Lessons that consist of children learning to ride of the paces of walk & trot will stay the same in price & the lateral structure in lessons will also stay the same.

The advanced lessons though will have an increase to these. We all hope you can understand and support us in the coast of living. 🫶🏻

🎃OCTOBER HALF TERM🎃

We’re so ready for you all over again, as our 6 weeks we have been flat out with our group and private lessons, as well as plenty birthday parties, pony days, summer camps and other activities that have gone ahead!

We’re ready to do it all again this October half term 👻
As Our horses and ponies have throughly enjoyed the 6 weeks in which you will see what they have been up to in our video in which will be released this evening of them having so much attention of being pampered, rode, and creating bonds with new customers and our regulars in which they showed us they have enjoyed the holidays as much as we have by bouncing around the fields in excitement for our next holiday🏇🏻

We can’t stand by this enough!

It’s so important and crucial to our horses welfare & wellbeing.

Please take a read, this is so important and the reason to why we have a weight limit in place, asking questions upon capabilities of your riding before riding with us here at Debdale. We take extra thought into paring you with a certain horse, we take into account the 20% each individual horse can carry, the reason we do this is due to our riding school horses and ponies all are at different capabilities within their riding education. We trust that you are 100% truthful with us to help us protect our horses as much as we can. There is so much more thought that goes behind the scenes of paring you with the correct horse for the day of your lesson.

We hope you all can understand and learn hugely from this knowledgeable information.

We’ve been bouncing with Joy into the Easter half term activities 🐣 What a busy day we’ve had! Full house all day, even with the new girl on the block 👀 🐴 I wonder who that may be… she’s certainly going to be a favourite of many 🤍 But While our lessons was going ahead the Easter bunny did a surprise visit 🐰 He’s came and given out the eggs which will entail who your riding on the day of your activity. He’s also brought the easter bunny rosettes, goodie baskets, chocolate eggs, tiny tots badges, jumping day rosettes and made reservations at the anchor for our cob and 🍺 you don’t want to miss out on his surprises he’s left and there plenty more to come 🥳 We’re super excited to have you all join us this weekend. What a fantastic first 2 days we have had into our February half term activities! 🐴 You all have done amazing. The hack was a full house and you all rode brilliantly ⭐️ Our first aid talk just wow! What an amazing experience we got with Field Equine Vets and Jo ! Can’t thank you enough the children and adults thoroughly enjoyed learning. Our horses thoroughly enjoyed hacking out especially dorris with her excited squeals 😂 Roll on tomorrow with our own a pony day. Who will be giving you a valentines card to ask you to spend the day with them … 🐴💝 See you all tomorrow 🤍

⭐️Monday 12th February 2024⭐️ Walk, Trot, Canter Hack. 2 hours – 10:00 AM -12:00 PM - ‼️FULL‼️ 📣 NEW TWIST 📣 💥LIMITED SPACES 💥 Tuesday 13th February 2024- 2hours HACK WITH FOOTAGE 🎥- First Aid Day in the Horse Industry - 9:30AM -2:30PM - £50 ! NEW ! Something new in town for you! We are bringing more to you the rider on the health care and first aid side of horses. It’s not just all about riding we have a duty of care to our animals in which we want to give you a feel on this. There will be an 💥2 HOURS hack -WITH A TWIST 💥- we will get VIDEO footage 🎥 of you cantering past in the open space so you can share with your friends and also have some photos taken of you and our horses with the back drop of the Kingsford forest park 📸 . We will be shown by our vet first aid procedures and care side of horses, even get to try bandaging our self. We will then also have a 30-45 minutes session on learning movement within the 3 paces, the foot fall of each rhythm within our horse, the duty care of riding our horse of weight distribution, and the types of horse we would take into consideration with workload within ligaments and bone structure/age/fitness/surface. ⭐️Wednesday 14th ⭐️- own a pony - any age and ability is welcome 🤗 ⭐️Thursday 15th - jumping day⭐️- Rosettes, sashes and trophies To be won 🏅 🏆 We will also be receiving a valentines gift of our horses with any activity you participate in you don’t want to miss out 🐴💝 Get booking through ecpro - Don’t miss out 🐴🤍
