Unfortunately we have been hit hard by the storm and it’s wiped us out
No electric since yesterday morning and a message from the national grid saying not going to be on till tomorrow evening
This is not good news as poor Jamie was working hard to get out the last 4 orders out before Christmas
We will endeavour to our very best as hate to let our customers down as I know how much they have looked forward to having their Equi HUTs delivered..

Let’s hope all our Equi HUT customers stay safe and our HUTs survive the storm.. this is going to be a hell of a test for them..

So let’s talk about movability
We have had a fare amount of people contacting us saying that their local council are really cracking down on how mobile actually are mobile field shelters are.. and if they can’t be moved easily then planning is required.
Also some have even started saying that they need to arrive at lest 80% built
As you are aware we definitely full within these requirements
But this has got us thinking on making our Equi HUTs on wheels 🛞
By doing this, this will allow you to move without the use of a towing vehicle which so many of our customers does have access to..
We would like to know your opinion on this?
Wheels will be able to easily come off and put
Back on when you need to move it.
What’s your thoughts

Beautiful Jersey 🇯🇪 and not bad Equi HUTs too
Busy building 2 of our X wide pull out HUTs for a lovely customer on Jersey
We have made some extra features on these which we are going to make available to add on as extras
Support legs these are a great feature for adding extra strength support to our HUTs perfect for heavy horses that like to have a good scratch 🍑🍑
Plus making them even stronger safer in extreme weather conditions

We would like to express our concern that a company (fallen oak timber) Scott McCallum is associating our name with one of their products.
I can confirm that we do not and have not worked with this company or given them any rights to use our name.
We are extremely angry that they are using not only our name and good reputation to try and sell one of their products
as in no way are they built using the same materials like we do 🤬
We would not want any of customers to be fooled in thinking we have worked with them

Ok so we are looking at designing a budget shelter with a canvas roof what’s your thoughts?
Size wise would be 12x12 with a massive height of 10.5ft so would easily house the taller equines out there.. will have a sectional side panels so will be strong as you know we only make products that are built to last and are safe for livestock to use
looking at a price range of £1800 - £2000 per shelter
Will also be on our custom galvanised skids so 100% fully mobile and will come flat packed on a pallet with a PDF how to build file
A quick video to show you our large Equi hut pull out
£4700 inc VAT
Size W3000mm x L4200mm x H2400mm
This is how simple it is for us to deliver one of our Equi HUTs
Note this is one of our largest pull out hut too .. it’s transported at 2400mm and then pulls out to 3000mm
Our Equi HUTs are simply the most easiest shelters to move
This saves you time and money as you don’t need to dismantle when you want to move it
Owning three large destructive horses ourselves and seeing that traditional timber ones just didn't work for our three, no matter how big and well built it was we simply struggled to get them to share together safely.
I would always worry about one getting blocked in and kicked.
We looked at different ideas and designs and looked at how different countries made their shelters, we saw some great ideas and thought this was something we could work from. We had already been manufacturing timber framed stables for over 8 years so had a great understanding of what materials and products to use. We wanted to make a safe shelter that suited all types of animals can be used freely and safely without causing stress and reducing injury's so the Equi HUT was born.
We are supper proud of this truly unique shelter and we hope you love it as much as we do. We are a husband and wife team and would love you to support our journey and be part of the equi HUT family.
Our HUTs are not just made for your equine friends, as you can see !!!
