🐾. THE SHEDDING CYCLE 🐾

Cats, dogs, rabbits and other animals go through a four-step shedding cycle continuously:

🐾The growth phase – when the hair grows from the hair follicle
🐾The regressing phase – when the hair has stopped growing and reached its full length
🐾The rest phase – when the hair dies and becomes weak
🐾The shedding phase – when the hair falls out and is replaced by a new hair in the growth phase.

🐾 So Why is it important to Deshed
your dog?

De-shedding aids in the natural shedding process. While it won't be able to remove all of the undercoat, it will help protect your pet from unexpected and painful mats.
Helps Avoid hidden hot spots! De-shedding aids in prevention of hot spots by drawing out natural oils released by a dog's skin and fur.
Regular brushing at home will help a great deal, but will not necessarily remove the unwanted undercoat.
