Had a great time at the Wessex Show, it was a little damp to start with but did clear up later on. We won best Trade Stand which was really nice, even better it came with a bottle of Famous Grouse !!! Thank you so much, a lovely show and well organized from my point of view.
The journey down was a little bit of a nightmare, M5 was closed just as we were trying to get on at Worcester, apparently a horse was running loose, had to get on a couple of junctions on, took a cut through on a very narrow road to access the motorway, thought it would be quite but unfortunately lots and lots of people had the same idea but coming the other way, sat in a farm pull in for 20 minutes letting them all through !!!! Stopped for fuel and only realized that I had forgotten my purse once I had filled up!!! Fortunately I carry a large float in my till and paid with cash. Finally once we got to the show I realized my camera was sitting at home with my purse so no decent photos of some of the country best decorated harnesses, oh well maybe next year. I did get some photos on my phone but my phone is old and photos are rubbish.
Charlotte Webb won the harness championship and Erica was reserve, well done to all who took part, a fabulous site to see.
