**POLITE REMINDER**

We pride ourselves on being a safe haven for dogs who might be reactive, nervous, or need some extra training. To help support these dogs and their owners, we ensure booking slots do not cross over, factoring in a buffer time between all bookings and staggering timeslots between our two Kidwelly areas.

We know time flies when you are having fun, but please help us to help your fellow park users by:
🐾 Booking your time slot in advance
🐾 Arriving for your booking on time, not attempting to enter the space early
🐾 Keeping track of time and leaving at the end of your booking (Please do not stay in the park into the buffer time - this is built in to allow you time back to your car so that cross overs do not occur in the parking area)
🐾 Picking up after your dogs

As always, we thank you all for your loyalty in using our dog parks. All money from bookings goes back into The John Burns Foundation, allowing the wonderful work in the community to continue. 🐶

After a lot of time and effort we are happy to say that the updated John Burns Foundation website and new booking system are now live!

Explore our new homepage https://johnburnsfoundation.org/, and click on the dog adventure park tab to take you straight over to the booking system.

Who doesn't love a crisp winter walk❄️

❗️ If you are out walking your dogs in this cold snap, remember to check and wash their paws as grit salt is harmful if ingested!

With the storms over the last few days, dog parks 1 & 2 are both much muddier than usual. They are still open for booking, but please ensure you have appropriate footwear, wet weather gear, and a towel!

Orlagh McCarthy will be joining us from 10:30am to discuss what your dog really NEED’s you to know, followed by Alistair Kirk who will be diving in to the link between pain and behaviour in our beloved dogs 🐶

With the warmer weather upon us we would like to take the opportunity to remind ourselves when taking our dogs out to...........
💧💧💧 PACK THE WATER💧💧💧

Giving your dog’s water breaks when you’re on a walk is crucial for them to remain hydrated throughout the summer months 🐶

We have a water tap situated outside of Dog Park 1 with constant running water, if anyone should forget to pack theirs😊
We ask if anyone does use this, please remember to turn the tap off when you have finished 🙏

AND..... Always remember it’s safer to walk our dog’ first thing in the 🌄 or last thing at nigh🌆when the weather is hot to keep them safe and comfortable on their walks.
