A date has now been confirmed for the opening of North Ayrshire's first-ever cat cafe.

Plans were first launched to create the venue in Beith at the beginning of February before North Ayrshire Council gave proposals the green light last month.

Toe Beanz is now set to open on the town's Main Street, at the former Masonic Jazz bar, on Monday, April 7.

The shelter said you were old, grumpy and not a lap cat, boy were they wrong! That i could give you a couple of good years but not to expect long. You decided today you had had enough. ‼️My car is in the garage as it wouldn’t start this morning. They are hoping I’ll have it back by Wednesday but I’ll keep everyone updated. I’ll try and sort out a temporary car in the meantime ‼️

‼️Bonfire night‼️
Albie finds it very stressful so going to whitelee wind farm at 5.30pm. I will have a space in my car for another dog if anyone else’s dog is struggling with fireworks.
