🎄✨ Merry Christmas from all of us at Nature Tails! ✨🎄

As another incredible year comes to an end, we want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all of you—our amazing clients and supporters. Your generosity, kind words, and thoughtful gifts this festive season have truly meant the world to us! We were running out of space in the vans last week with all the amazing gifts🥹🤣

2024 has been a year of many ups and downs, but as always, Nature Tails is on the up, and it’s all thanks to your continued trust in us. From your fur babies joining us on adventures to the heartwarming moments we’ve shared, you’ve made this year one to remember.

We’re so excited to see what 2025 will bring. There’s no doubt it will be filled with wagging tails, muddy paws, and plenty of unforgettable memories with your wonderful pets.

We hope you all have a brilliant Christmas Day filled with joy and love, and we wish you a fantastic start to the New Year!

🎉🐾 Pet Spotlight: Sherlock 🐾🎉

Today’s spotlight is extra special because it’s Sherlock’s birthday! 🎂🎈

Sherlock is a gorgeous Rottweiler and one of the most loving dogs you’ll ever meet. When he first joined us, he was a rescue who wasn’t too sure about smaller dogs—probably a little nervous about the size difference! But now, he absolutely adores them, and it’s been amazing to watch his confidence grow.

Sherlock joins us for walks three days a week and has even stayed with us for home boarding. Unsurprisingly, he was a total gentleman during his stay!

On walks, Sherlock is happiest when he’s by my side or Erin’s, looking up for approval and patiently waiting for cuddles. His love for people and his eagerness to be a “good boy” make him such a joy to have around.

Happy Birthday, Sherlock! You’ve come such a long way, and we’re so proud of the amazing dog you’ve become! All thanks to the help from your new mum who has done an amazing job and always wants the best for you! We hope your day is filled with extra cuddles, tasty treats, and all your favorite things! 🥳🐕💙

🐾 Pet Spotlight: Eddie the Mini Labradoodle 🐾

Meet Eddie, our loyal and playful mini Labradoodle who’s been a cherished member of the Nature Tails family for over a year now! It took us a little while to figure out Eddie’s unique quirks, but once we did, he’s been having the time of his life ever since.

Eddie loves his role as my trusty co-pilot, riding up front in the van like the little adventurer he is. The moment we arrive at the field, Eddie’s enthusiasm takes over – he pounces out of the van, ready to run, play, and explore with all his friends.

He also went through a phase recently of being reluctant to leave after his pawrents recent pregnancy which shows his true character of being such a caring, loving dog. Thankfully he is now back to charging out to get to his vip seat🤣

After a fun-filled day of zoomies and adventures, Eddie’s favorite way to wind down is with a cozy nap on the way home. Watching him snooze contentedly after a day of excitement always brings a smile to our faces. 🐶💤

Feel like all we post is bad news just now. I’m hoping we catch a break soon because I think myself and Megan are gonna lose our minds.

It seems kennel cough is delivering itself as an early Christmas present to us! We’ve now got a couple cases from dogs that attend Megan’s runs. It’s just one of these things no one can control so Megan’s walks won’t go ahead tomorrow and we will be getting the van emptied, cleaned and disinfected. We are sincerely sorry for this but our biggest thing is keeping dogs safe!

We are asking that regardless who your pup goes out with, if they display any symptoms whatsoever please let us know immediately and don’t send your dog out!

If you’re unsure on what the symptoms are, it tends to be wheezing, coughing, hacking and sometimes reverse sneezing. It’s like a really bad cough/cold in dogs. The symptoms take a few days to actually show but best way to get a good idea is to get your dog to run/jump about and get excited and 9 times out of 10 they will start hacking/coughing as if they need to clear their throat.

Dogs who are vaccinated CAN STILL get it. The vaccine just stops the severity of it.

We can only apologise. We know it isn’t our fault we can’t stop ourselves from feeling awful and guilty about it, we hate letting people down. But we hope you can all understand that safety and acting quickly is our top priority as well as the dogs! ☹️🐶

🐾Pet Spotlight:Dexter the Hungarian Vizsla🐾

Say hello to Dexter, one of our long-time superstars at Nature Tails! Over the years, Dexter has made some incredible progress, and we couldn’t be prouder of him. From his early days of nervousness to now being an extremely sociable and playful pup, he’s truly come into his own.

Dexter loves nothing more than running around with his best pals, Shadow and Tyson. Watching them play together is always a highlight of the day! His unique personality, paired with a touch of nervous charm, makes him so special to all of us – it’s just one of the many reasons we adore him.

Dexter has also been a frequent guest for home boarding, and he’s always an absolute pleasure to have. Whether he’s out in the field with his buddies or relaxing at home with us, Dexter brings so much joy to everyone around him. 🐶💙

🌧️🐾 Rainy Day Fun with the Pack! 🐾🌧️

Today might have been all about heavy rain and miserable weather, but the dogs didn’t let that dampen their spirits! 🐶💦 The field was full of puddles, and they made the most of it, splashing, playing, and running through the muddy fun.

Sometimes, the messiest days are the happiest ones, and it’s safe to say the pack had the time of their lives today. Who needs sunshine when you’ve got puddles and a group of playful pups to brighten the day? 🌟🐕

🐾 Pet Spotlight: Cooper the Courageous Cockapoo 🐾

Meet Cooper, our lovable Cockapoo with a heartwarming story of growth!When Cooper first joined us, he was a little unsure and hesitant to leave the comfort of home. But after a few days out with his new friends, Cooper started to find his confidence and really come out of his shell.

Now, this adventurous pup loves nothing more than sprinting across the field with his best pal, Arlo. And if there’s a mucky puddle in sight, you can bet Cooper will be the first to dive right in – no mud too messy for this playful boy!

It’s been amazing watching Cooper transform into the energetic and happy pup he is today. We’re so proud to have him as part of our Nature Tails family. 🐶💙

Thanks everyone for your patience so far today regarding pick ups, it’s just me and Erin working today as Megan’s van is at the garage getting fixed for tomorrow. Not in a long time have we had issues like this as always had the spare van but with mine being off the road at the same time it’s gave us some real problems and I just wanted to thank everyone for baring with us.

Things should be back to normal as of tomorrow and for those who haven’t been collected yet you are on our afternoon run and will be collected no later than 2pm.

IMPORTANT

I’m sure you’ve all seen the weather it’s mental! If you’re sending your dogs out with us today, please have jackets ready or on them and then plenty of towels available for us coming back. I can only be brutally honest and tell you it’s likely they will be a bit muddy and of course wet- there’s only so much cleaning we can do with the time we have. We will of course try our best with the resources we have in this weather.

If you think your baby won’t cope in this sort of weather ( our Lola is bloody scared of wind😢) and you’d rather keep them home please please please text in plenty of time to let us know🙏🏼

🐾 Pet Spotlight: Chester the Social Spaniel 🐾

Meet Chester, the life and soul of Nature Tails! This energetic and friendly Spaniel is everyone’s best buddy and brings endless joy to our days. Chester’s mornings start with pure excitement – he waits patiently by the window for the van to arrive, keeping a watchful eye. The moment he spots us pulling up, the fun begins! He bolts to the door, bouncing with joy, and then sprints to the van, eagerly waiting for his special spot to be ready.

Once he’s at daycare, Chester’s boundless energy shines. Whether he’s running around with his pals or exploring every corner of the field, he makes sure no moment is wasted. And when the clock strikes 4 p.m., Chester takes it upon himself to let us know it’s time to wrap up. With a wagging tail and a little bark, he waits by the van, ready to head home after another exciting day.

Chester’s enthusiasm is infectious, and we’re so lucky to have him as part of the Nature Tails pack. 🐶💫

As the colder weather now approaches we just wanted to share important information. It’s not just the warm weather that can be dangerous for the dogs!

Weather around -1 could you please make sure there is jumpers/ jackets on your dogs for collection or easily accessible. This is again is more for the smaller/ short coat dogs but don’t forget the big doggies get cold too!☃️

If the weather has to be around -4 for most of the day/ walking time then there is a chance we will ask that you don’t send your dog out on the walks especially smaller/medium breeds. We could offer drop ins for anyone who needed it. Let’s hope it’s not that cold often because I don’t think my toes and fingers will survive!🥶

We just want to keep the dogs safe!❄️
