🌧️ From Frost to Floods! 🌧️

Well, we’ve officially traded the ice and frost for non-stop rain! ☔️ If your dogs are anything like ours, they’re loving every muddy puddle and soggy adventure!

With the rainy season now in full swing, we’d recommend investing in a good waterproof jacket for your pups—especially those with longer coats. It helps keep them dry and saves you from dealing with that lovely wet dog smell!

We’ll always do our best to clean your dogs off and wipe away those muddy paws before dropping them off, but with all this rain, a little extra prep goes a long way. If you’re not going to be home, leaving a towel by the door means we can give them a proper dry-off before they settle in.

Let’s keep those paws (mostly) dry and tails wagging this winter! 🐾💦

🐾 Pet Spotlight: Herman 🐾

Meet Herman, our powerhouse working German Shepherd!

Herman is easily one of the highest-energy dogs we have the pleasure of working with, and it definitely shows in his unstoppable enthusiasm to please! Every Friday, like clockwork, you’ll find him waiting in his favorite spot by the window. The second he sees the van pull up, he’s straight to the door, ready and waiting for me to chap.

This boy is incredibly intelligent and thrives on mental and physical stimulation. Whether it’s running, exploring, or playing, Herman gives it his all. One of his favorite things to do is play with his best mate, Brax the French Bulldog—who couldn’t resist photobombing this picture!

Herman’s drive, loyalty, and playful side make him such a joy to have as part of the Nature Tails pack. We can’t wait for more adventures with him!

🎄✨ Merry Christmas from all of us at Nature Tails! ✨🎄

As another incredible year comes to an end, we want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all of you—our amazing clients and supporters. Your generosity, kind words, and thoughtful gifts this festive season have truly meant the world to us! We were running out of space in the vans last week with all the amazing gifts🥹🤣

2024 has been a year of many ups and downs, but as always, Nature Tails is on the up, and it’s all thanks to your continued trust in us. From your fur babies joining us on adventures to the heartwarming moments we’ve shared, you’ve made this year one to remember.

We’re so excited to see what 2025 will bring. There’s no doubt it will be filled with wagging tails, muddy paws, and plenty of unforgettable memories with your wonderful pets.

🐾 Pet Spotlight: Eddie the Mini Labradoodle 🐾

Meet Eddie, our loyal and playful mini Labradoodle who’s been a cherished member of the Nature Tails family for over a year now! It took us a little while to figure out Eddie’s unique quirks, but once we did, he’s been having the time of his life ever since.

Eddie loves his role as my trusty co-pilot, riding up front in the van like the little adventurer he is. The moment we arrive at the field, Eddie’s enthusiasm takes over – he pounces out of the van, ready to run, play, and explore with all his friends.

He also went through a phase recently of being reluctant to leave after his pawrents recent pregnancy which shows his true character of being such a caring, loving dog. Thankfully he is now back to charging out to get to his vip seat🤣

After a fun-filled day of zoomies and adventures, Eddie’s favorite way to wind down is with a cozy nap on the way home. Watching him snooze contentedly after a day of excitement always brings a smile to our faces. 🐶💤

Feel like all we post is bad news just now. I’m hoping we catch a break soon because I think myself and Megan are gonna lose our minds.

It seems kennel cough is delivering itself as an early Christmas present to us! We’ve now got a couple cases from dogs that attend Megan’s runs. It’s just one of these things no one can control so Megan’s walks won’t go ahead tomorrow and we will be getting the van emptied, cleaned and disinfected. We are sincerely sorry for this but our biggest thing is keeping dogs safe!

We are asking that regardless who your pup goes out with, if they display any symptoms whatsoever please let us know immediately and don’t send your dog out!

If you’re unsure on what the symptoms are, it tends to be wheezing, coughing, hacking and sometimes reverse sneezing. It’s like a really bad cough/cold in dogs. The symptoms take a few days to actually show but best way to get a good idea is to get your dog to run/jump about and get excited and 9 times out of 10 they will start hacking/coughing as if they need to clear their throat.

Dogs who are vaccinated CAN STILL get it. The vaccine just stops the severity of it.

We can only apologise. We know it isn’t our fault we can’t stop ourselves from feeling awful and guilty about it, we hate letting people down. But we hope you can all understand that safety and acting quickly is our top priority as well as the dogs! ☹️🐶

🐾Pet Spotlight:Dexter the Hungarian Vizsla🐾

Say hello to Dexter, one of our long-time superstars at Nature Tails! Over the years, Dexter has made some incredible progress, and we couldn’t be prouder of him. From his early days of nervousness to now being an extremely sociable and playful pup, he’s truly come into his own.

Dexter loves nothing more than running around with his best pals, Shadow and Tyson. Watching them play together is always a highlight of the day! His unique personality, paired with a touch of nervous charm, makes him so special to all of us – it’s just one of the many reasons we adore him.

Dexter has also been a frequent guest for home boarding, and he’s always an absolute pleasure to have. Whether he’s out in the field with his buddies or relaxing at home with us, Dexter brings so much joy to everyone around him. 🐶💙

🌧️🐾 Rainy Day Fun with the Pack! 🐾🌧️

Today might have been all about heavy rain and miserable weather, but the dogs didn’t let that dampen their spirits! 🐶💦 The field was full of puddles, and they made the most of it, splashing, playing, and running through the muddy fun.

Sometimes, the messiest days are the happiest ones, and it’s safe to say the pack had the time of their lives today. Who needs sunshine when you’ve got puddles and a group of playful pups to brighten the day? 🌟🐕

🐾 Pet Spotlight: Cooper the Courageous Cockapoo 🐾

Meet Cooper, our lovable Cockapoo with a heartwarming story of growth!When Cooper first joined us, he was a little unsure and hesitant to leave the comfort of home. But after a few days out with his new friends, Cooper started to find his confidence and really come out of his shell.

Now, this adventurous pup loves nothing more than sprinting across the field with his best pal, Arlo. And if there’s a mucky puddle in sight, you can bet Cooper will be the first to dive right in – no mud too messy for this playful boy!

It’s been amazing watching Cooper transform into the energetic and happy pup he is today. We’re so proud to have him as part of our Nature Tails family. 🐶💙

Thanks everyone for your patience so far today regarding pick ups, it’s just me and Erin working today as Megan’s van is at the garage getting fixed for tomorrow. Not in a long time have we had issues like this as always had the spare van but with mine being off the road at the same time it’s gave us some real problems and I just wanted to thank everyone for baring with us.

Things should be back to normal as of tomorrow and for those who haven’t been collected yet you are on our afternoon run and will be collected no later than 2pm.
