Remembering George

With heavy hearts, we share that our dear friend George has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.

George was the sweetest, most gentle boy – a true friend to everyone he met. While he always had a calm and kind nature, in his later days, he still had his mad moments of chase and fun, reminding us all of his playful spirit. We’ll forever picture him trotting up his wee ramp to the car while his brothers, Henry & Arthur, bounded in beside him, ready for another adventure.

George loved his days at camp, and we loved every moment spent with him. He will be deeply missed by all of us, his family, and his wonderful mums.

Run free, George – Camp 4 Paws won’t be the same without you, but we’ll always remember you with love.

We had no idea just how much you all loved seeing our happy campers every week… until we accidentally took a little break! 😅 Turns out, Natalie broke the page (who knew that was possible?! 🤷🏼‍♀️😂).

All on target to open back up from Friday & we can’t wait to see everyone 🥰🐾
There will be work going on over the next month, but it won’t affect Camp 🙏

Meantime… our dogs have been ruling the garden like tiny furry monarchs during our storm-induced daycare hiatus, the cats have been hard at work… snoring on my bed, completely unbothered. But don’t worry—normal chaos resumes Friday! 🥳

Hey everyone!

Wee update just to try & keep everyone aware of what’s happening, as I’m aware it affects you all as much as us.
Camp is closed - I’m hoping we can open on Friday coming (31st) I’m absolutely gutted to let you all down - I’m so sorry, this really was outwith my control 😢

Fencing & Astro are sorted to a point that is workable for us for the time being.
I’ve got quotes coming in for the roof/astro/fencing etc over the next few days & that area of my building without a roof will be closed off come Thursday & sorted asap.

I will keep you all posted, but for the Friday team im optimistic we can be back & then open again on the Monday as usual. All be it i expect we will have some work going on over the next month.

Currently this is the damage we have 😢😢 the missing roof is not an area that we use, it’s going to be our indoor playroom..one day. I was just getting quotes for rough casting it last week 😢
The building needs fixed before we can reopen as it’s open to the elements & not safe.

Fencing we have been in touch with & will be sorted asap (everyone is really busy trying to help anyone with damage) Astro 🤷🏼‍♀️
We really need a roofer who does metal sheet roofing - please tag anyone who could help us 🙏

Hopefully we can get these things sorted asap & be back to normal. Well as normal as we get 😜 For now we have a lot of tidying up & phone calls to get repairs organised. Thanks for everyone’s messages, calls & just kindness - it’s really appreciated 🩷🩷 Main thing is Jenson, myself & our dogs are all okay, just an absolute nightmare for me 😢

Due to the extensive damage caused by the storm, still ongoing we regret to inform you that Camp4Paws will be closed for at least 1 week. We will assess the full extent of the damage when it’s safe tomorrow and will provide updates as soon as we have more information.

This is a heartbreaking situation for us, but we want to thank you for your understanding and continued support during this horrible time.

Stay safe, and we’ll keep you posted.

If anyone knows any metal sheet roofers, fencers & landscapers - please tag them - it’s going to take a village 😢

Our littles are out in full force today, and it’s so nice to watch them all get along so well—what a lovely wee pack! 🥰

Our puppies & newest additions, Luna, Dolly, and Roxy, have fully settled into daycare life and are loving all the fun and adventures! 🎉

We’re so grateful to share our days with such amazing dogs and their wonderful humans. ❤️
