If you have an elderly dog or your dog has joint or mobility problems, this could be a worthwhile addition to your toolkit.

I can think of one dog right away, who we used to walk, who is sadly no longer with us, whom I would happily have purchased this for. He left a massive hole in our lives the very day our last litter of pups was born. I'm pretty sure his owner would have bought one herself has we been aware that such a harness existed.

We’ve had a bit of a situation here on the farm…

A situation with four legs, floppy ears, and an attitude that says “I wasn’t supposed to exist, but here I am.” 🐶

So… once upon a time, Harry (robs dad) confidently announced that his little Jack Russell couldn’t possibly get his big Labrador bitch in pup.

“Too small,” he said. “Wrong height,” he said. “Not physically possible,” he said. Maybe he should have listened to all of us a bit better when we said KEEP THEM AWAY FROM EACHOTHER.

Well, it turns out what Harry actually knows about dog romance could be written on the back of a calf tag. Because fast forward a bit and we've now got four perfectly healthy Lab x Jack Russell puppies that absolutely didn’t get here by magic. 🙄

We haven’t had puppies on the farm for a couple of years now, so while they weren’t invited, planned, or remotely sensible… I have to admit, I’ve missed the chaos and the tiny squeaks. Honestly, I’m already getting attached and they haven’t even opened their eyes yet. Just thank god there's only four and not 10 🤣

So welcome to the farm, you legendary little accidents.
You’ve proved once and for all that love finds a way, even when it’s only 10 inches tall and thinks it’s a lion.

Sorry, Harry. Turns out size really doesn’t matter. 🙈😂

We're back after our daughters' wedding (and yes I did mean to put the apostrophe there 😆) Shani is the girl in the dress and Emily was equally stunning in her suit. Gus our son (young lad in the kilt) and his gorgeous wife Andrea.

Casper, the lab is one of our pups from the 1st litter and responsible for paw marks on Shani's dress, my mangled flower and a glass of nosecco spilled down the front of mine (hence the jaunty angle of my bag 😆).

I thought I'd share a handful of pics to give you all a wee look into our life outside of our mucky wellies and windswept mops.

We had the best day ever and our faces are still sore from smiling and laughing. Surrounded by those we love.

Thank you for all your advice, guidance and good wishes on the run up to the big day.

This gorgeous 3-year-old Labrador is sunshine wrapped in fur — friendly, happy, and always ready to greet you with a wagging tail! ❤️🐾

She does have a condition called Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), but it’s well managed and doesn’t stop her from living a joyful, full life — she just needs a loving family who understands her limits and can help her enjoy playtime safely. 😊
