A few facts about these lick buckets....
🐎For horses and ponies who are in light work or at rest, the Dallas Keith Equine Flexi Range can be used in place of hard feed to provide the vitamins, minerals and trace ele-ments required for a balanced diet.
🐎For those equines who are in harder work, Dallas Keith Flexis are ideal to provide additional supplementation to ensure your horse or pony is able to perform to their optimum.
🐎Horses and ponies will take Dallas Keith Equine Flexi licks little and often, mimicking the trickle feeding of natural grazing behaviour.
🐎Unlike some other licks, these are NOT heavily molassed, so horses won’t eat them excessively. Molasses is an unrefined sugar, like those found in grass and hay.

‼️The Dallas Keith Equine Flexi range contains 18% sugar, but at the recommended daily
intake of 100-300g/day, they will add just 18-54 grams of sugar to the daily diet.
To put that into perspective:
7.5kg of hay contains 825g 😱
2 kg of a low sugar mix contains 120g
800g of a low sugar balancer contains 71.2 g.

‼️ When considering the sugar content of your horse's diet it is important to look at the wider picture and consider at everything your horse eats on a daily basis !!

🐎As the DK Equine Flexis are designed to be too hard for horses to bite, the intake level is naturally slowed as they have to lick them.
