Hiya folks, I've managed to come down with a horrible sickness bug and I'm afraid I'm having to close today.

Edited to say its apparently a fault with Openreach and is affecting loads of folk. Hopefully they will get it sorted quickly but the mobile number is fine 😃😃

Hi folks, it's Kirsten here from The Groom Room. Just to let everyone know I got a wee stone chip off a car and it spread so that's why my window is currently boarded up. Should be fixed in a few days time.

Hiya folks. Unfortunately I have had a run of so called new clients who have booked (sometimes multiple dogs) then not turned up.

I realise I currently have a wait time of between one and two weeks for an appointment and clearly they have found someone who can do it earlier. I have no issue with this and a simple call to cancel would solve the issue but, this is not sustainable business practice for me. Not only am I not getting paid, I still have to pay for my staff so I am actively losing money!!!

Going forward, all new clients will have to pay a non refundable deposit of 50% of the grooming fee. This will also apply to clients who have not been for a considerable time or who have history of no showing (you know who you are!!😉🤣).

I am happy to change appointment times with a 48 hour notice warning.

All deposits must be paid by bank transfer within 12 hours of making the appointment or the appointment will be cancelled.

I'm very sorry it has had to come to this. As always, the minority spoil things for the majority😢😢
