These 2 pvc webbing folding leads are in the post to their new owners. Specially made 2m, 20mm wide strap leads with D rings at the top for handle, half way down and at the foot of the lead. Finished with 2 aluminium trigger hooks and in 2 colours, I think they look fab. 🤣🤣

Just finished making this very heavy duty lead and collar for a Cane Corso. The collar is 2 inches wide and 2 feet long, he’s a big guy!!! This double king cobra collar has a tactical buckle and is matched with a 5 foot chunky Tactical Frog lead which has a built in grab handle. Perfect for BIG dogs!!!!!

They’re back!! Double rope dog collars have been in demand recently from customers who have bought them in the past. I have re-vamped the design a little and now produce an adjustable version and a fixed size one with black aluminium tactical buckle. Also available with nylon or metal side release buckles. Samples shown are just over 40cm, perfect for larger dogs but they also work well in smaller sizes.

Lovely 8ft dog lead made from 10mm double braid marine rope. This one, in Army Green, is secured with Woodland Camo paracord and has a grab handle 18 inches up from the Self Locking carabiner. The handle has a woven overlay of paracord.
It’s very lightweight, only 200 grams, but is very strong!! This one is £18 but it is also available in shorter lengths, with or without the grab handle. Choose one of the 10 rope colours and 50 paracord colours to make your lead totally unique.

Alfie was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with Degenerative myelopathy at the University of Glasgow’s Small Animal Hospital. It was such a shock. It’s been diagnosed very early as we convinced the vet to consider that it might not be age related arthritis. He’s 12 but not arthritic. He’s doing really well, wobbly legs when he walks slowly or stands still. Great when he walks fast!
He’s our little super dog!! I saw this pic online and just thought ‘this is Alfie!!’

Just wondering if anyone could recommend a supplier that I could buy sheepskin rugs from?? I need excellent quality, natural brown sheepskins for my tuggie toys and flirt poles. They need to be complete, rug quality and not offcuts or seconds.
My usual supplier has stopped selling them.
I’m happy to travel within a reasonable distance and am looking for 6-8 for now. It’s probably better if I can go and select the ones I want as a lot of sheepskins aren’t right for my products.
I’m down to my last one which should last a couple of weeks.

What to do when a cloud passes over Lanzarote?? Create a new company!! I can offer Alfie’s Leads products at great prices because I buy direct from manufacturers, meaning I need to buy in bulk.
I’ve often thought about selling excess stock via a subsidiary company. Rope & Hooks Unlimited will soon be selling high quality marine rope, paracord, hooks, clips and buckles to anyone who wants to create something incredible!
I’m sure the logo will look quite different once Richie the wonderful Graphic Designer sees this!!! Keep you posted!!

We are closed until 10th January 2025 and would like to wish all of our loyal customers a happy Christmas and a good New Year!
2024 has been an amazing year for Alfie’s Leads with just over 2,500 sales during the past 12 months. I am always amazed at the number of international sales we make – what makes someone in Australia, USA or Hawaii buy a dog lead, collar or other products from Alfie’s Leads? I’m incredibly grateful to all of our customers including local people and dog owners who meet up with us at the wonderful Agility Events we attend in the summer months. This year I have been accompanied by Nicola, a friend who supports me at events just for her love of dogs! Thank you!! A big thank you to all of the hard working organisers of the events we have attended during 2024, we are looking forward to seeing you all again in 2025!
