Henry, who had been a stray for some years, came into the care of Cats Protection West Lothian Branch. His coat was severely matted, and a lot had to be shaved off. Henry also had eight damaged teeth which needed removal. Despite his hard life, he is now a healthy and very affectionate cat looking for a home. We are now looking for staff for our busy season, March until October/November. We are looking for somebody flexible to cover (depending on how busy we are) usually between 2 and 4 shifts per week INCLUDING WEEKENDS. Must be 18 or over, have a pleasant manner with customers, work to high standards with METICULOUS attention to detail and have a genuine love of cats! Also being realistic, while the job does involve playing with and cuddling cats it is a mainly cleaning job so you must enjoy LOTS of cleaning to a high standard! ***SPECIAL APPEAL FOR A BEAUTIFUL WEE SOUL***

This precious lady is Mrs Wolowitz & she has a sad story to tell. She was found on the grounds of a farm & she was in a bit of a sorry state. She had sore eyes, a wheezing chest, bad teeth & her ears were so dirty that she probably couldn’t hear very well 😿

She has had 5 star treatment from our staff & vets since arriving in our care & she’s now looking & feeling so much better. We aim to make sure every cat’s time with us so if you are able to contribute to our just-giving appeal, I’ve included the link below & if you are interested in adopting this beauty, please keep reading 😻

She had to have pretty much all of her teeth removed, so her new owner would need to feed her soft, wet food only & she still has a wheeze in her chest but it is causing her no issues at the moment.

You can’t tell from the picture but she’s a very small cat who is a looking for an understanding & experienced cat owner who isn’t going to expect too much from her. She is very curious but she doesn’t want petted or too much fuss however, given a lot of time & patience, who knows how she’ll be. The one thing she absolutely loves is catnip!

She is looking for a quiet adult only home with just one or two adults, no children & no other pets. As she was previously living outside, she will need outdoor access & she may choose to spend a lot of time outside as this is what she’s used to therefore it would be nice for her to have a shelter outside if that’s what she wants.

She is just looking for someone to accept her for who she is & doesn’t expect her to change so if this is you & you have fallen in love with her, you can find her on our website along with full details of our adoption process 😻
