🫂Helpers🫂

We would like to say a massive thank you to our helpers who have worked so hard during this awful weather. We couldn't do it without you.

A massive massive thank you to our helpers today who worked very hard from start to end with day to day jobs aswell as gut out the 3 pen ring feeders. Move in new bales and net them for the ponies coming in for worming.

This was not an easy job at all and we are very grateful for everyone who helped.

Dressage masterclass 22nd February 1-5

This is a perfect opportunity for those riders who are looking to learn a little more about dressage and maybe gain some further confidence to enter our unaffiliated shows! A perfectly timed opportunity also for those taking part in our fundraising dressage show on 8th March!

This afternoon includes the opportunity to:
* Learn more about what the judge is looking for throughout your dressage test
*perfect your required movements in each level
*learn tips and tricks to increase your scores in your test
* a group ridden session to further understand the basic principles of dressage
*the chance to run through a test at the level of your choice with feedback afterwards

Fundraising "Have a go" Dressage show

Over 2024 we did a good bit of fundraising for the yard and we are going to continue this throughout 2025 as our aim is to constantly improve the centre for all of our clients!
2025 is going to kick off the fundraising with a dressage show with a difference! This is a super fun, relaxed show where everyone can come and take part and enjoy their day out! We will be running a schedule of novelty classes throughout the day with every class open to everyone and some nice rosettes to be picked up! Classes are as follows:

Class 1: Intro to Music
Make up your own intro level test and put it to music produce a masterpiece! Each test must contain compulsory movements which will be provided by WRC. Music can be whatever you like but the idea is to use music with a rhythm that compliments your horse! Intro level tests will be walk and trot only. £15 per class

Class 2: Intro Pairs
Grab a partner and hit the dance floor in this specific dressage pairs class! Marks,score sheets and rosettes to each rider. Each pair will be judged on how well they work together as well as how well the execute the movements required! Pairs tests available from WRC £22 per pair entry

Class 3: Prelim to Music
Same as class 1 and Intro to music except these tests must contain compulsory canter movements. Compulsory movements can be obtained from WRC. £15 per class

Class 4: Prelim Pairs
Same as class 2 Intro Pairs but includes canter movements. Pairs tests available from WRC £22 per pair.

We would love for as many people as possible to come and join us on this day! It's going to be lots of fun and hopefully a good experience for everyone who comes along while helping us raise some money to upgrade our jumps!
Entries are open to those who wish to take part on riding school ponies as well, horse hire £25.
Entries are open now and riders are welcome to enter as many classes as they wish! If you don't know where to start, remember, we have experienced BD judges and competitors onsite for lessons who can help you with movements and building tests!
