Indy’s first puppy groom 💕🎀

Although Indy might not need much done at the moment introducing your pup to grooming from an early age is essential ! Loud dryers , noisy clippers and sharp scissors can be totally overwhelming for a dog so introducing these things slowly gives your dog the best chance to get used to the process !

Today Indy had a bath , gentle blow dry and she also allowed me to clean her ears , clip her nails and trim her feet ❤️

With all this wet weather we have been getting recently it’s so important to keep up with brushing your dogs coat , especially if you want to keep your pup in a cute teddy bear style🧸 Here’s a video I took of Brodie the golden doodle his coat is always well maintained which makes his groom so much more comfortable for him ! Line brushing demonstrated in the video is essential for curly or long coated dogs ! Using a greyhound comb and a slicker brush You need to ensure the coat is brushed up wards and then from the root of the hair all over the body, if knott free you should be able to get a comb through the coat easily .People often brush the top of the coat without realising the matting is underneath. This process done frequently means no nasty matts/knots or shave downs and your dog will be used to the grooming process when it’s time for their trim 🐶 🛀 ✂️
