Haven't posted for quite some time, but here's something I'd like to share with you all. HOME - a fantastic short film by Sam Barnes I mixed with Hamish Keen has been nominated for a "Best Sound for a Live Action Short Film Award" with the Australian Screen Sound Guild. Congratulations to all of the nominees for this year's awards.

Remember The Sound Hound? She turned one recently. And here she is with her new rubber chicken! Which makes a truly horrendous noise. The lesson? Never let the 12 year old choose the dog’s birthday present 🙄

Ordinarily this time of year I'd be giving lectures at the VCA Film and TV School before we kicked off for the year's film making. But due to COVID and lockdown, sadly not. However! It has lead to same "A Grade" MacGyvering while making online lecture videos about location recording. Here's what you can do with two adjustable clamps, a script stand, a glass chopping board and the mobile phone holder from the car. Worked a treat.😎
