We hope you have a fantastic day celebrating and being thoroughly spoilt. We'll have a second round of birthday fun when we see you later in the week 🥳

We're only going to ask this once but how is it December already???? We're not ready for it!

This week we have had an impressive array of fleeces and jumpers coming through the door honestly we think the Dogworkers have better wardrobes then we do 😆

We welcomed Benji, our last Puppy Academy pup of the year into the crew and he soon made friends with Little Alfie 🐾 We've enjoyed lots of indoor games and sofa snuggles through the back with some epic games of chase through the tunnel during garden time.

However the highlight of this week (possibly the year) has to be when Kona decided to play with Ginny 🥰 Ginny has been working hard at this friendship for such a long time and we don't think she could quite believe it when Kona asked her to play, honestly it would make your heart melt.

Here are the Dogworkers going about their week and just a reminder that we will be closing for Christmas on Friday the 20th at 5pm and reopening again on the 6th of January

What a weekend! We hope you've all managed to stay warm and away from the snow and wind.

This week seems to mainly consisted of opening the door to let the Dogworkers out to the garden then opening the door immediately to let them back in to then open it to let them out again ...... we're pretty sure they were tagging each other in to see how often they could get us to do it 😆 We did think a revolving door might help but we're sure it would only end up with us all stuck in it!

Apart from that we've had taste tests, who knew cabbage would be so popular, lots of sniffs where geranium was a firm fav and then there was snow!!!!! Which was very exciting ❄️❄️❄️

We did get a few walks in but they were short and sweet with it being so cold and everyone was happy to stay and play with their friends.

Enjoy some of the photos we managed to catch of the guys as they went about their days 🐾

Yesterday we had our Intro to Mantrailing workshop and the 3 teams that joined us did amazingly well finishing the day at the beach for some sunset trails 🧡

Through the afternoon they learnt how to ask their dogs to take a scent from an article, we looked at some handling skills then put it all together to follow a trail and find our hidden person when we were assisted by our trail layer Erin.

A huge well done everyone, thank you for coming along and I'll look forward to seeing you soon for our follow on sessions.

If you & your dog would like to come to join the fun with us, our next Intro to Mantrailing workshop is on the 8th of December and is suitable for dogs of all ages 🐾

It's been a busy week (and an even busier Sunday!) at The Dogworks but the Dogworkers have made sure it's flown past and everyone has been kept amused and with plenty of snuggle time.

There's been searching for interesting things... sometimes we're not even sure what the guys are looking for but hey who are we to question when they are having fun 😁 Lots of playtime but lots of chill time as well, we don't want anyone getting overtired and grumpy (we're not talking about Mandie or Avril there 🤔) and some lovely walks. There's even been a spot of sunbathing and much amusement when Avril brought in some hard boiled eggs for the taste test this week 🥚

Are they food or a plaything? There was many different techniques used to try and work it out from front tooth nibbles, to grabbing it whole and take it to a bed to see then the ever popular bash it with your paw until something happens!

Here are the gang up to their tricks to warm your Sunday evening up 💞

Whitelee Windfarm Visitor Centre and rangers are once again holding their nae fireworks night tomorrow evening.

If you and your dog want to escape the noise it really is the perfect place.

We’re pleased to announce that our Nae Fireworks Night event is returning this year on Tuesday 5th of November!
If you’re looking for somewhere quiet to get away and walk your dog(s), in the company of other like-minded owners, then Whitelee Windfarm is the place for you. The Whitelee Countryside Rangers, Whitelee Visitor Centre and ScottishPower Renewables staff will be on site to run the event and do our very best to maintain a firework-free zone - although please understand this can never be fully guaranteed! We recommend that dogs are kept on leads during the event.
Whitelee Windfarm Visitor Centre will be open to dogs and owners, for hot drinks and cake until 9pm - don't forget to bring your re-usable cup to receive a discount off your hot drink and help us reduce our waste. New for this year, there will be coffee vans on both the grass in the visitor centre car park, and at turbine 40 at the bottom of the hill from the visitor centre. There will also be portaloos at turbine 40.

For more details including parking details and helpful information for visiting please follow the link:

As always – spread the word that fireworks are not permitted at Whitelee windfarm. They pose a danger to site infrastructure, can cause peatbog fires, and cause distress to the sites wildlife and livestock, as well as visitors…so please don’t bring them.

We hope your weekend is passing quietly and the fireworks aren't causing anyone to much concern. We've had a fun week in...

We hope your weekend is passing quietly and the fireworks aren't causing anyone to much concern.

We've had a fun week in the unit with dooking for apples, howloween jumps and bandanas making appearances, we're not going to ask who wore it best with the pumpkin jumpers we think they all rocked them 🎃 and no one took George's jumper as an invitation which was a relief! 😆

You may also spot (I know that's awful 😁) Milo who has joined us this week as the last Puppy Academy student of the year. He didn't take long to settle in at all making friends with everyone but especially Lola and Nash 💞

Here are the Dogworkers to round of your weekend and just a wee heads up that the Kilwinning Community Group Firework display is on Tuesday evening at McGavin Park .

How many of you have had your dogs asking you for dinner since 3.30pm this afternoon and did anyone manage to take advantage of the extra hour this morning?

This week it's been all about new friendships and growing puppies it seems at The Dogworks and we don't know how many times we've said "they've taken a stretch" as the guys have come in the door!

It was lovely to see little Ruby pop in for a visit and spend sometime with us while Emma was in at the beginning of the week and Cosmo was back from his holiday, while some of the other familiar faces were off on theirs.

Cooper decided that the smallest crate in the entire place was the best place to be, despite there being a multitude of beds and sofa's to choose from..... the reason???? We dared to offer him carrot as his treats. Honestly we think he was going round asking the other Dogworkers what they had for lunch and did the want to swap 😂

Oh and Lola decided that sofa manners were for wimps and a riot would be far more entertaining...... needless to say they were told to take that outside sofa's are for chilling not bouncing! so Sybel led the way with the zoomies before their afternoon naps.

They certainly keep us entertained and at one point we did wonder if the Dogworkers have their own WhatsApp group to swap ideas on what they can get up to next 🤔 so as we ponder that thought here are the gang to brighten up your evening.

Before we get on to our Sunday post we have a Happy belated Birthday to the gorgeous Piper 💞

Miss Piper loves nothing more than playing ball and snuggling on the sofa under a pile of blankets, if she could work out how to do both at the same time she would be in absolute heaven ⚽

She really is the sweetest of girls and always so excited to burst through the door to see everyone on her daycare days.

We hope you've had the very best of birthdays Piper and we'll have an extra game of ball when we see you to say sorry for being late with your post. Lots of love everyone at The Dogworks 🥳
