NOOOOO 😱 not the brand new harness!
We'd done so well and then he decided to faceplant the swamp 🤪🤭
Ringstead recalls
Recall practice again...can never overdo group recalls like this.
It's important they all listen to me even when distracted or playing. Lost my whistle AGAIN...so 'Pup, Pup, Pup' cue it is 🙈 so embarrasingly squeaky, do I really sound like that?!
Excuse Ernie he's still learning to fly back without actually taking off 🤣
Our recommended brand of Harness
We are often asked 'what harness is best?'
AllDogs recommends a Perfect Fit Harness and use these on our own dogs as you can see.
They are a brilliant all rounder. Comfortable for the dog, soft fleece-lined and well built clips mean that you can put it on the dog without having to put it over their head - perfect for older dogs that are stiff or anxious dogs.
They come in different widths and are 3 seperate parts so achieving a proper fit is possible on all shapes and sizes.
They are also a Y shaped harness which is much healthier for active dogs as it doesn't restrict their shoulder motion which a lot of 'no pull' harnesses do.
We can attest they are durable and wash well - Ella's is regularly in the washing machine after a bogdive!
But the biggest bonus we love as a trainer?
The 2 points of attachment! Perfect Fit harnesses have a clip on the front of the dog's breast bone and another in between their shoulders. We use these to teach the dog to walk politely and in balance.
