Cathy has a passion for dogs & her work, so in 2001 she opened CK9. Cathy and Josie look after all the dogs as they would their own whilst providing quality grooming. We keep our standards very high however comfort & care for the dogs is priority. Cathy has her C&G 7750-03 Diploma in professional dog grooming and has had sucsess in dog drooming competitions accross the country. Josie has a Diploma in animal managment and now has her C&G 7763-03 part 1 dog Grooming certificate.

Happy New Year to all our wonderful customers!

I hope you’ve all had a lovely Christmas. The past year has been difficult for so many, myself included. Your custom is appreciated more than ever! Not only have we been spoiled over the period up to Christmas (a huge thank you for that!) your amazing dogs we groom, your kindness, laughter and constant support is what keeps us going and makes work a enjoyable place to be!

Also a big thank you to Josie. I couldn’t wish for a better employee/friend! Josie goes above and beyond what I could ask for, I would be lost without her!

Good afternoon all!

As some of you are already aware, when the temperature rises we will be starting at 7am and finishing early. This is to avoid the hottest parts of the day. Whilst the salon stays pretty cool, we want to avoid anyone taking their dogs out in the high temperatures.
We all know that the British weather is so unpredictable! Therefore we will be contacting you the day before to rearrange times if necessary. We appreciate some of you may fit your bookings with other appointments, and will always try our best to accommodate you.

Good morning all!!

SALON UPDATE

The lobby door is now open and you can enter reception. There are 2 doorbells by the salon door in the reception area - one is for our CK9 clients and the other is for Pride to Groom (Fiona)
Please ring the appropriate doorbell.

Please read the following

1) only enter if you have an appointment.

2) only one household to enter reception at a time. Our reception area is small and could frighten a reactive/nervous dog if crowded.

3) ring appropriate doorbell once and wait patiently. We have to make dogs safe before seeing to customers.

The old covid guidelines worked well for us in some ways. We had less disturbances giving us more time to focus on grooming. Please ensure you arrive to your appointment on time and all enquiries and bookings are made by calling the salon on 01553 777377

Important customer notice!

The salon is currently booked up until 7th June. With that in mind and struggling to fit in our loyal customers into their regular slots, we will not be taking on new clients at the moment.

As warmer weather will soon be with us 🤞we strongly recommend you make your next booking before leaving the salon in future.

New no show policy
90% of our customers are great! However with Increasing costs of living and wanting to provide the best service to our loyal customers, clients that do not give 24hrs notice, or do not show to 3 appointments will be removed from our books. There is a 50% charge for less than 24hrs notice, at our discretion. We do have a reminder call service, please do use this if you need to, we appreciate how busy life can be.

Good morning everyone! I just wanted to share something with you that I think would hugely benefit some of our clients.

In June Josie introduced me to a thing called Man Trailing. Well, I’m now hooked! Both of us have also got into scent work too. These classes are with Hide and go Sniff . The instructor Phil is great and the classes have made huge improvements on my Roy’s reactive behaviour. We no longer have a dog that’s screaming on his hind legs desperate to get to that squirrel! He’s still not perfect and is pretty gobby in our scent work class, but our bond has strengthened and we can actually get his attention!! Phil has the patience of a saint and his main focus is that you and your dog are having fun!

Phil has some dates in kings Lynn. If anyone is interested, send him a message. Alternatively you can ask me, I may be able to answer some questions.
