Hey guys, so I have news! I know I am going to devastate some of you with this post but this has NOT been an easy division for me by a means. It is with a heavy heart that I need to tell you I will be giving up dog grooming. My life has been a whirlwind this last year and with everything that is happening I feel now is the right time for me to make the brake and find my feet again. I will be continuing the business until either I get a job offer or the house sells what ever comes first. I’ll only be working 2 weeks in advance at a time. If you have an appointment in I will be in touch no matter what and if you don’t and you need one soon just give me a shout.
in the meantime I would suggest you all start to look for a new groomer. Any groomers seeing this post if you have availability please jump on and post your details in comments.
Can I just take a minute to thank every single client that has ever crossed my door step, I am forever grateful for all your custom and support. I have made some wonderful friends through grooming and I will miss my wee fluffy pals more than any of you will ever know. This has been my life for the last 27 years but it’s time for change. So sorry again I hate letting people down 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

Hey guys wee update
So on Saturday my mum rushed me to the Victoria Hospital after I had a severe pancreatitis attack.
So after a scan on Sunday morning showed I had severe pancreatitis and gall stones so we had to wait for the pancreas to calm down before they could remove my gallbladder. So on Tuesday the operation went ahead however with me having had surgery only 7 months ago and still having swelling in the area it was a much higher risk operation 😫.
I was in theatre for 3 and a half hours and came back to the ward with a drain bag 😱. So the next morning on ward round the doctor explained the operation had went well the gallbladder was removed successfully however they nicked my liver and there was quite a bit of bleeding 🩸 🫣. So the plan was to remove the drain tube and make sure all was ok and get me home . But my body decided that it didn’t want to play ball and my urine track decided to stop working and I couldn’t p*e, I was severely swollen so after a long day of trying they decided to keep me in and catheter me. This morning the catheter was removed to give my bladder a chance to start working I was giving till 3.30pm to p*e a reasonable amount, if I hadn’t the catheter was to be re fitted and I’d be sent home with it. pending further investigation. So needless to say my mission today was to p*e lol 😂 and at 2.45pm I managed to pass 550mls 😲😲😲. So tonight I am home on the sofa, with my dogs, chalk white and absolutely shattered beyond belief, i never thought I’d be so glad to p*e and get home I’m all my life. Massive thank you to all the wonderful NHS staff for taking care of me you are all angels ######### ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi folks hope your all well, can I ask people who pay bank transfer to check there last payments have gone through seem to be missing some hopefully this will jog your memory if you forgot before I start to ring round.

So I am currently stuck in my bed with slipped disks in my lower back I could greet 😭😭😭 so so sorry I have had to cancel today and tomorrow’s appointments and I’ll have to see how I am tomorrow night I’ll take it day at a time was at back specialist today so hopefully it will start to ease off.

I am away on Monday for my operation so will be closed until the 20th fingers crossed 🤞 healing goes to plan. So any appointments I have had to cancel or reschedule will most likely be after I come back. I totally understand if you need to look elsewhere in the meantime and again I am so so sorry but I literally am struggling to move today 😩😩😩

So after a long hard think I have decided that after Christmas I will be cutting down to a four day week and unfortunately will no longer be working weekends. I just want to put it out to you all as soon as I can I know some of you can’t do weekdays and can only manage weekends but unfortunately due to me needing a better work/life balance and for my health this is the decision I have come to. After Christmas my opening times will be
MONDAY 9- close
TUESDAY 9- close
WEDNESDAY CLOSED
THURSDAY 9-close
FRIDAY 9-close
SATURDAY & SUNDAY CLOSED.

information from a experienced registered breeder-
Any dog owners - there’s a bad virus going round at the moment, reading about it non stop. Vets are putting out advice as it’s spreading really fast and they’re seeing an advanced amount of admissions.

Try stay away from parks, don’t let your dog drink outside water, puddles etc and not to sniff 💩. And clean your dogs paws after every walk in case they’ve walked in the virus then catch it when cleaning themselves 🥺

Vets are reporting higher than usual occurrenced of gastroenteritis in dogs which is fitting with a wider phenomenon as reported by The Small Animal Veterinary Surveillance Network (SAVSNET). So far we have found that the cases seen- whilst clearly being poorly- have responded well to treatment.
The British Veterinary Association (BVA) advise that with prompt veterinary treatment almost all dogs make a full recovery from this uncommonly violent gastric bug.

How Is This Vomiting Bug Different?
According to Vet Dr Danielle Greenberg of SAVSNET, this vomiting bug is unusual due to:

Prolific vomiting of 5 or more episodes in a 12 hour period which can stop for a period (such as overnight) and then starts again
Dogs are often unable to keep water down at peak vomiting stage
Anorexia and lethargy for 2-5 days
Diarrhoea: Most dogs have ‘gravy-like’ diarrhoea
Full recovery can take 5-10 days

What We Know So Far:
This outbreak is affecting areas across the Midlands, Wales, the North of England and Northern Ireland
The illness is most likely a virus but has not yet been identified.
Seems to be dog-specific, thankfully humans don’t appear to be at risk.
This is not caused by Parvo or Salmonella

To drop in and first of all thank you all for your continued support and patience in what is a very difficult time for us just now, and an update on where we are at.
Margaret has had her operation and is waiting on results and information on further treatment etc it is highly unlikely that’s she will be able to return before her planned retirement date at Xmas. So please join me in wishing her a sp*edy recovery and wishing her all the best in her retirement thank you for all you do and everything you have done I love you so very much ###x💖💖💖💖💖###x

I have now rearranged the diary from now till Christmas 🎅🏻🐾 I am closed this weekend then I will be working 7days a week straight through till Xmas day to ensure I can keep all your appointments in.

Please note from now till Christmas and all future appointments in 2022 your dogs may be in the salon a bit longer than usual as I will be working alone, please be patient and don’t worry I will ensure your pet is taken care of and be assured I will contact you as soon as your pet is ready for collection. ✂️🛁🐾❤️

There will be a slight increase in price as of January 2022. If you have any concerns please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

My books are full and there is no available appointments unless someone cancels or comes of the books. All future appointments for 2022 have been scheduled in to the diary for next year if you haven’t already received your card with next year’s appointments you will get it on your next visit.

All appointments are subject to change in the event of emergency or illness.

As margaret is going in to isolation as of Monday for her operation on 8th I am going to be really struggling to keep everyone’s appointments 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ I have been reorganising some today and from the 15th November through till Xmas I am inundated and have far to many dogs to manage on my own. This has been such a hard week and it’s something no one saw coming I am really sorry and I will try my best to keep your appointments where I can. Well that’s it guys I am now fully booked until January 😲
I will be starting a cancellation list for anyone who hasn’t got an appointment that may need one, if you have an appointment in that you no longer need or want please contact me ASAP to cancel so I can offer it up to someone else. ❤️❤️

As I mentioned in my last post margaret will be retiring at Christmas, so next year my books will fill up a lot faster than normal, I am currently making up appointment cards with a years worth of appointments for regular clients if you require one please contact me if you haven’t already done so.
Please note due to working alone I will be taking in less dogs but you’re dogs appointment May last longer than usual due to working on my own. If this is a concern for you please don’t hesitate to contact me, I can assure you I will do my very best to have your furbabies back to you as soon as I can.

My books will remain closed to new clients for the foreseeable, I am no longer doing hand stripping or large/giant breeds due to injury.
