🎄🎅🎄🎅First I'd like to say Merry christmas to all my amazing dogs and their mummys and daddy's ❤️

Now I'd like to thank every single person for giving me a card, gift, money, home made food, flowers. Not only now at Christmas but all through the year from leaving me extra money for hot drinks on cold days, home made biscuits, irn bru, chocolates and I could keep on going. I'm blown away with everyone's generosity right now - totally overwhelmed.

And lastly all my dogs as everyone knows mean the world to me - we've had a blast and can't wait to see you all in 2025 🐾❤️

When Care Means Going the Extra Mile…

We were called out by the to assist with a dog whose vulnerable owner needed urgent hospital care.
The owner was reluctant to leave their home, worried about what would happen to their beloved dog. After providing plenty of reassurance, they gave us the go-ahead to step in and help.

However, as is often the case, it wasn’t as straightforward as it seemed. When we arrived, the dog was not just scared—he was absolutely petrified, showing clear signs of stress and fear, even the potential for reaction.
Despite our gentle approach, it was evident this dog wasn’t used to the outside world. His licking lips, pinned-back ears, and glassy eyes told us he was overwhelmed. While we had initially planned to bring him back to our care, we made the decision as a team to prioritise his comfort and safety.
Rather than forcing him out of his familiar home and potentially escalating his distress, we decided it was best for him to remain where he felt secure—surrounded by his owner's scent and the comforts of home.
Our team is now visiting the property daily to provide care. Today, we cleaned up, ensured he had fresh food and water, and spent time reassuring him , where he feels most at ease.
We’ve left a light on for him, and tomorrow morning, we’ll be back again to bring him breakfast.

This is a three-hour round trip for us each day, but his safety and well-being are worth every mile.
It’s not about doing things the easy way; it’s about doing what’s right for each individual dog.
This is how we work—always placing the dog's needs first. 🧡
