🐾🦷…Toby’s Emmi-Pet Teeth Cleaning…🦷🐾

Toby has had 2 sessions with Emmi-Pet Ultrasonic teeth cleaning system,
And the results speak for themselves,

Taking it nice and steady was paramount due to Toby been slightly nervous but taking it at his pace really helped & has given this boy overall amazing oral health by removing built up plaque & debris.

🔴My Justification just this once about matted dogs & my business moving forward.

🟡Please no bad comment about dog shown or owner these have been allowed to be used by owner to help me provide education to other customers.

🔴Why am I doing this? = Because I care,
Care about your dog
Care about your requirements
Care about my business
Care how I get disheartened by customers comment’s about (WHAT I HAVE DONE TO THEIR DOG)

But mainly I care about been YOUR dogs voice when they cannot be heard & putting their need’s above customer’s requirements.

🟡So I’m just going to state some simple fact’s, education & answers, this isn’t to be rude or arrogant it’s the truth & moving forward with my business if you do not agree then I’m sorry but I’m not the right groomer for you.

I always’s try to provide the correct customer service,
As the saying,
(The customer is always right?)

So let start, question & answers, comments & fact’s

Q..do dog groomers have to have qualifications
A.no
ME YES,
diploma level 3 trained in dog grooming & salon management.
Canine emergency first aid trained & certified in Emmi-Pet teeth cleaning service.

Q. do I think I’m the best groomer & know everything?

A. No not at all & I never will be, there is some remarkable dog groomers in the world it’s a skill that takes year’s of experience & further education to even stand a chance of getting close to been noticed in the grooming world it’s unrecognised art

FACT. No matter what I always put 100% into my work, go above & beyond your local or every day dog groomer’s that have shop over heads or monthly wages they want to achieve,

FACT. I try to educate customers the right techniques on brushing, combing & maintaining dogs coat care.
I always say if you stuggle in between grooms please get in touch to prevent matting & il do a bath & blow dry at reduced rate on a evening when’s convenient
(In my family time/free time)
to help you out.

FACT. Customers before or after purchasing a certain breed of dog, should do simple research on coat management, what is required, how often it should be groomed, grooming prices & do you have the time to give a dog the time to maintain this?

Things I hear/get..
Why have you skinned my dog?
My dog didn’t need to be cut so short?
Why am I paying that much?
My dog is now cold because of you?
You’ve done it to earn more money?

Answers/fact’s

A.Your dog was serverly matted due to poor maintenanceby not been brushed & combed on a daily basis

under the animal welfare act 2006 its offence to cause further unnecessary suffering & pain to dogs when I have tools to remove Matt’s that would take longer then 15 minutes or maximum 20 minutes to remove.

By this act we are also entitled to refer your dog to a vet as it’s classed as neglect & abuse.

F. I always ring the customer to make them aware of matting & my intentions,
always ask for confirmation that I have done this,
I always offer for you to collect your dog before I start & use elsewhere,
I always state extra cost.
I always take photo to protect my self & my business to back up any work that is done.

Matt’s can cause, restricted airflow, prevent proper body temperature, cause skin irritation’s, hide parasites, cause extreme discomfort, skin lesions & tears.

My De-matting standard fee £20
(Charged to earn extra money/ my groom has cost a fortune)

Dog pictured below & my fee/extra money cost me,
2x wide blade blunt cannot be used sharpening fee £10.80 each
1x standard blade sharpening fee £9.60
1x mini trimmer blade needs replacing £22.50

F. Dog’s been cold?
Dog are not cold because their coat is short,
Again if education was done?
Dog regulate their own body temperature, from hot to cold, dog’s do this by,

Panting, conduction, evaporative cooling, & dogs also have an internal heating system.

De-matting dog’s is my very last resort I do not enjoy this process & I do not want the same re occurrence of dogs like this,
I try my very best to help with advice, education, selling of products, offering extra services so your dogs can been groomed pretty & beautiful the way you expect your breed to look.

🔴From Monday every customer with dog that has mixed coat’s, curly coats, high maintenance coat’s will be required to sign my new matted dog disclaimer,
without this been signed your dog will not be groomed,

Excitable little boy Maximas came for his 1st little pamper session
& boy has this puppy got some coat on him.

It sure is going to take team work to help maintain his coat until he’s ready for a big boy hair cut once his adult coat is ready,

It’s so important to keep your pups free from Matt’s & tangles in their early stages as having to cut them short before there coat is ready can cause damage
including dulness to colour.

& overall appearance,

If at any point my customers start to struggle maintaining there dogs coat care I always advise to get in touch before it becomes to bad,

As Matt’s & tangles can cause pain & suffering to your loved ones & also put them of from been groomed.

Tilly has come such a long way, she didn’t have the best start to life & now has to amazing loving parents that spoil this one as much as they can,

Tilly has very little eye sight, but over time she now settles into the grooming process, I’ve worked with this beauty to build a relationship so she isn’t scared or anxious,
Taking things steady & getting her use to the sounds of equipment & making sure she has breaks & cuddles to put her at ease,

Your loved ones always come 1st, & I adapt to their needs, & always keep owners informed if I feel there dogs are unsettled or anxious.
