Yesterday I walked my newby for the first time.
Taz is a beautiful blue grey Staffy. Bouncy & full of fun. You won’t see him here as no socials but a huge welcome to Taz he’s amazing 😍

Just to note if any of my clients see me out with a blue Staffy around East Hull, please keep your dogs at a distance. Taz loves loves loves people, really not at all keen on other dogs, so it’s just us and what a great time we had!

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. We are now ready for departure. Please ensure all collars & harnesses are securely fastened, your eyes and ears are open in working order and all personal electronic devices are in flight mode. We will be taking off shortly, you may experience a slight sensation of acceleration. Norman has taken a fancy to one spot near home where he likes to sit and take in his surrounding, watching the world go by.
If we try to move on, he lays down

These dog libraries in local parks are a brilliant idea. Occasionally you will find a ball or toy in there, you can let your pooches have a play with something you find.
Of course, return it for the next pooch to enjoy.

Let’s fill them up and bring joy to the next lucky pup frolicking by 🐕🐕‍🦺🐶

Even better, you can tie a new poo bag to the crate for anyone caught short!
Just make sure it won’t blow off as we don’t want to cause a litter issue for wildlife now do we.

Other ways to help our local park’s & communities
* pick up your dog 💩
* pick up one left by someone else
* bin your rubbish or bring it home
* bin rubbish found on the ground
* don’t discard chewing gum anywhere except a bin.

You’ll find if you do, you’ll get an enormous sense of well-being 🥰

Margo & Wendy had fun together recently, along with many other doggy friends, walking with their owners in the local park.
These two are good friends ♥️
They would make a perfect coupling for regular walks, though I’m not meeting Wendy for this purpose.

I am working with Wendy, as she struggles to leave her dad’s side. He is her everything and their bond is amazing!
The aim is to have her get used to coming away from her dad with me, progressing to this becoming the norm as we want to prevent the potential of anxiety around separation, becoming an issue in future.

We meet for familiarisation and I’m pleased to say, Wendy is always happy to see me and is listening to my commands.

Sessions have been consisting of walks alongside her and her dad, entering her home and leading up. She is following my lead when ready and walks without any sign of stress.
Wendy then halts at the point of walking away from dad.
The next step is attending while she is home alone for garden play and cuddles. We know she won’t leave, so we are not pushing too fast, however she may leave much easier without dad home, we will see.

This is a slow process, one which requires sensitivity and patience.

There are many reasons to hire a Dog Walker, with “walking” not always being the goal.
However, I am not a Dog Trainer and fully recommend a trainer be contacted, should you be experiencing behaviours, which are proving difficult to manage.
