Dear friends and supporters,

As you may be aware, the recent bird flu restrictions have made it more challenging for us here at East Hull Community Farm. Due to the increased need for additional sawdust and food supplies, our costs have risen significantly and we need your help.

If you’re able, we would greatly appreciate any donations towards these unexpected expenses. Every little bit helps and will go directly towards providing the care our animals need during this difficult time.

Good morning! We are now back open with our usual hours, Monday - Friday 9am - 3:30pm.
*Please note* Our chickens are currently in "flock down" and have to stay in their barns due to bird flu restrictions that are in place throughout East Yorkshire, so you won't see them roaming about if you visit, we still have farm fresh eggs available and oir chickens are being kept occupied with lots of treats and toys.

This year the farm will close on Friday 20th December for Christmas break and will re-open on Thursday 2nd January.
If you want any last minute eggs for the festive periods, pop in sometime before 3pm this Friday. 🐣

A Huge Thank You to All the Wonderful Children!
Mrs. Christmas, Em the Elf, and Rudolf the Reindeer had a magical day at the East Hull Community Farm Christmas Event today! It was such a joy to meet so many smiling faces, and we hope you all had as much fun as we did.
Thank you for joining us and spreading so much Christmas cheer—what a fantastic way to kick off the festive season!

*Please note* Next week we are having fencing replaced along our donkey, duck and sheep paddocks. There may be limited access at different times, to these animals while these works are completed. Having these works completed during our quiestest period helps with minimising disruption to your visits.
We are still open! Including our shop 😊 Thank you for understanding.

We will close for Christmas on the 20th December this year! So don't forget those all important eggs for baking all your festive favourites. £7 a tray or £1.50 a box (6 eggs)
Fancy a different kind of Christmas tree? There's still some of our pallet wood trees available! Made right here on the farm.
And lastly, when you pop in the shop why not have a go on our tombola, still lots of prizes to be won 😊

Yesterday, Shel was invited to give a talk at Brough Lodge 5464 about the farm and what we offer. It was a wonderful evening and at the end, we was given a donation which will be put towards the upkeep of our community farm, the work we do within the community and with adults with additional needs." 😊🐮🐷🐰🫏🐑

Don't forget we are still open! After you've been around the farm, why not pop into our on-site shop here you can find for sale, our farm fresh free range eggs, we also have farm animal Christmas tree decorations, and wooden Christmas trees made from re-purposed pallet wood right here on the farm, we even have a tombola on the go! 🤩
Every penny you spend on the farm helps us through the winter months and goes right back into the farm up-keep. 💚🐮🐷🐰

Ernie is officially back with his flock now after waiting the acquired time after his castration. He is officially in retirement!! Although he does prefer to savour his breakfast unlike the unruly bunch he now lives with who like to eat as fast as possible. 😄
