Our mission is to rehabilitate and rehome animals that have suffered cruelty, neglect, or abandonment. Our purpose is clear: to be the voice of animals for as long as they need us. We will continue our tireless efforts, to change the lives of animals in need, to work with the community, to educate and advise, improving the quality of life for animals in partnership with the National RSPCA. As a Br

Academy Puppy classes starting again soon 🐕

Our 6 week course is aimed at dogs aged between 3 months and 12 months of age.

Key details:
-Held at the RSPCA Animal Centre Clough Road Hull HU6 7PE
-Starting Sunday 12th May in the afternoon
-£80 per dog

The Course Includes:
- Handling techniques using consent
- How to use differen't training methods (lowering, capturing and clicker training) to teach new behaviours
- How to utilise toys for play and training
- Advice on problem behaviours and how to remedy them

Your puppy will also get a chance to socialise with other dogs in a safe enviroment.

All proceeds from the Academy go directly to helping rehabilitate and re-home animals at the centre.

Dog of the week Stan (seen here walking beautifully on his lead 🥰) is a little worried today because he's just polished off the last of the squeezy cheese! 🙈 If any of our lovely supporters could donate us some primula or even tins of hot dogs as both are used as training treats Stanley would be so so grateful 🙏

💫 Dog of the week💫

🐾 Each Saturday we will introduce you to one of our fabulous residents in our care looking for a home.

🐾 As Stanley is our star dog for the week we will share 7 “Stanleys Adventure” posts throughout the week, so without further ado let me introduce you all to this lovely boy!

🐾 Stanley is a 6 and a half year old staffy crossbreed that was brought into our care due to a change of circumstances.

🐾 Stanley has now been in our care for 228 days & is patiently awaiting his perfect match forever home.

Sheeba 🐕 is asking for your 🫵 help, we are down to our last couple of bags of grain free treats 🥺 Sheeba like many of the other dogs in our care require a grain free diet, due to allergies or sensitive tummies.

Meet Diamond 😻 she is a chatty Bengal, who arrived to us as a stray. From her body condition it was clear to see she hadn’t had regular meals she was very under weight. With a lot of TLC from staff and volunteers she is starting to look and feel much better. 🐾🐾

Diamond 💎 is almost ready to find her new home, we are now opening applications. She is looking for a home with breed experience and no other pets, she may be able to live with children with cat experience. She is an affectionate girl who likes fuss and attention, she can be a little nervous on first meeting.

Meet Tinkerbell 😻 she arrived into our care after her owner became unwell. She was really struggling in the cattery spending all her time hidden in her scratching post. Tinkerbell has been lucky and has now moved into a foster home with one of our staff, she is much more relaxed and showing her true personality.
