Sounds of the Estuary

Sounds of the Estuary Sounds of the Estuary giving a platform to all sorts of music and cultural events. Where we provided a paid gig opportunity to the acts.
(10)

Starting it's life at Sharkeys, Sunday Sounds of the Estuary was an all day music event with several acts through out the day and night which moved to The Ringside for several more successful years with such acts as Horse Guards Parade, The Holy Orders, Le Bete Blooms, DePHOT, Craig Meehan and The Sexy Offenders and Shiznitz, to name but a few, gracing the stage. After a short break and short stay

at The Polar Bear, Sounds of the Estuary returned but this time at Jaz Bar on Lowgate, Hull. Sunday Sounds in it's traditional format has moved to O'Rileys on Beverley Rd but is not as frequent. Sounds of the Estuary stage is a fixture of the Cottingham Springboard Festival at the King Willian IV, this and Trinity Festival stages and other gig nights have really established Sounds of the Estuary as a mainstay of the local music scene. If you want to get a gig just send us a message and we'll get something arranged.

What an absolutely wonderful weekend! For the first time in many years the weather was not kind however, that didn't put anybody off. The love shown and the passion of everyone involved that helped organise Cottingham SpringFest Music Festival or attended was truly amazing. Always a weekend to remember. A huge thank you goes to all organisers, volunteers, venues and the staff, to the acts who played, photographers and of course the audience. You make Cottingham Springfest Music Festival the magical, wonderful and special festival that it is and you deserve all the thanks and love thrown at you. See you all next year! Watch this space.
