Needy Nora is 5 weeks old today! She still the size of a 2 week old! She doesn't seem real lol. To cute but so Needy. She's starting to do mummy nova's head in 🤣🤣

Update on bex!
She's now been surrendered!!!!!! and now has the best home with the lovely couple who kindly fostered her 💕

What a 3 weeks it has been dealing with her old owner🤬🤬

She's not once asked how she was. Was only interested in what money she could get!

Well she's now paid for, minus fees. All signed over, all safe.

Unfortunately we have had nothing but trouble from helping fostering dogs for people in emergency situations this week year, due to this we will NOT be helping any dogs that have owners again. The vile abuse, blackmail, threats, having to explain myself to the police, stress, anger it causes just because I took your "beloved dog/dogs" in to my home and cared for them, When no one else would help........

Hey guys we need your help.....

This is bex, she came too us 3 weeks ago after her owner was taken to hospital, the kind paramedic took her home for the night. She contacted us to foster her for 1 night after that.

So we collected her and contacted her owner. She said she needed a few days....
Then said it could be longer.
So we agreed she could go stay with my friends for the rest of the time.

So a few night after I start getting abusive texts off her owner....
So I told her to get bex collected ASAP.
She never came.....
After several attempts to get her to collect her and even offered to drop her off in Driffield, it never happened!

So 3 week later, her owner is homeless and not in a good situation so I offered to buy bex so she could stay with her foster family for good.

After more abusive texts she finally agreed!
While we was sorting the money she changed her mind and has now called the police!

I've been trying to sort this for weeks!!!!
So this morning she's upped the price again!

Which is going to wipe out the food budget for over Christmas.

We are going to pay it as bex deserves the best and I can't let her go back to that life.

Please could you help by donating just £1 to help towards our Christmas food for the rescue animals. Or add a extra box of cat food to you Christmas shop.

Any help would be so much appreciated. Can't believe someone would extort money from a small rescue like this, that only tried to help.

Rio is looking for a home. He came in to the rescue last weekend after we had a call that his owner was going to kill him!! And had hurt him!!!!!
All because he had fleas!!!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬

So we soon took him in and sorted his infestation within the hour! He got neutered a few days after and is now really to find a home he feels safe in. He's a lovely friendly boy now, only about 9 months old. He would be OK with other younger cats and cat Friendly dogs after proper introduction. Fine with kids over 5. If you could give him the best home please inbox.

Just for the record I've seen a few posts about "evil people" poisoning cats with antifreeze/de-icer......

Although it can happen the likelihood of that being the cause is very slim. You try getting a random cat to drink water......

Cats get antifreeze poisoning from DRINKING PUDDLES!

If you use antifreeze then your part of the problem.
Stop being lazy and use a scraper 😁

Or even better, invest in a catio and keep you babies safe from all the dangers out there 🥰

7 weeks ago we got a call that we hope we never get again. A friend of ours called saying his house was on fire 😭😭

Dale entered the burning building to rescue his beloved cats, Unfortunately the two adults had passed 💔💔 but he managed to rescue two tiny kittens that where days old 🩵🩷

The firemen gave them oxygen and I called jen at The Wildlife Alliance - Hull & East Yorkshire to see if she could give them the best care.
She took them straight away and did a amazing job bottle feeding and taking care of them. They are now back with their dad's helping heal them after the terrible events.

Really can't thank jen enough for saving these special siblings 🩵🩷

We wish their dad's the very best of luck in rebuilding their home and on the imminent arrival on their first child ###

UPDATE ON GINGE 🧡

She's doing well on cage rest in foster. Her swelling is going down and she's eating a little. She's not toileting normal as yet but she hasn't eaten loads. Shes on her pain relief and showing no signs of pain. So we are happy with her progress. Keep it up ginge 🥰
