I did say I'd let everyone know when I have my new diary for September onwards.. I've contacted some people but wouldn't want to miss anyone, please drop me a message for appointments required for september onwards. Would also advise booking your dogs next 2 appointments as I currently don't have availability until middle/end of August 😳
A little heads up for saturday clients 📣
Saturdays will be hard to come by as from September, and they may end up being Sundays due to other commitments so my regular weekend people please get intouch sooner rather than later so I don't miss any doggos 🐶 🥰

Hello summer ☀️☀️
Just a quick one, as lovely as it is to have the sunshine we have all been praying for 🤗, it does get rather hot in the shed later in the afternoons, even with a fan on. It does effect equipment as dryers/clippers get hot very quickly and it can also be too much for the dogs, and lastly myself. Will take each day as it comes but will be making less bookings for later in the day and the regular evening appointments may be moved an hour or 2 later once the sun's off the shed and it's a little cooler. If I do have to move any appointments due to the heat I will give as much notice as possible and get the dog back in ASAP as I'm aware they are all pretty hot too.
Lots of late evening beach walks coming up! 🐾 (not the same day as groom day 😳😆)

Just a quick one 📣
Unfortunately I am having to increase my prices slightly, due to the price of equipment and bills etc going up continuously. I always try and keep the increases down to a minimum and haven't increased for over a year. This will become effective from May 13th. If you have any queries about your dogs appointment, please drop me a message 😀

George, the most handsome terrier around last week 🐾🥰
George is such a pleasure to groom (a video will follow). He gets hand stripped about twice a year and comes in regularly for grooms in-between. There are so many factors that can change a dogs coat and keep it strippable, or not. Some to mention would be if the dog has been castrated/spayed, age, previously been clipped. A couple of appointments have become available due to cancellations and they are as follows..
Monday 22nd April 1pm
Friday 26th 9am + 11:30am
SATURDAY 27th at 12pm, as an extra slot I've put in the dairy 🎉
Monday 29th 9am + 11am
That's all I currently have left for appointments in April so don't hesitate to drop me a message as free slots do go rather quick! In time for some warmer weather.. we hope ☀️🐾

Just a quick one 📣
Not my favourite thing to do on a Monday morning however I've had couple no shows from new clients over the last couple of weeks, I understand things can change and I appreciate the people that let me know, however some just ignore it.
Going forward, any new clients will be required to pay a non-refundable 50% deposit (unless I've been contacted to cancel 24hrs before the appointment time) and clients who may have missed more than 1 appointment will also be required to do the same. Its not something I want to do but people not turning up or cancelling so close to the appointment time doesn't give me time to always fill that space, leaving me short that week and hours of time wasted.

Had a week of selfies last week, because dog cuddles give good endorphins 🤗
🐾 Lola after her bath but before her trim. She's a little older and quite blind so plenty of cuddles are a must to make her more comfortable. 🥰

Good news 🙌 I now have space for some new clients 🤗🐾 I have a couple of free slots next week, being Wednesday morning and Friday afternoon. These slots do go really quickly as many of you will know who contacted me about the last available slots i had.
Had a thought today, cant believe ive been dog grooming for 8 years now 😌 and theres not a day that i dont love my job, and the dogs. 🥰
Looking forward to seeing everyone in the new year and meeting some new doggos 🐶 ❤️

I had the pleasure of new girl Roxy last week and what a hairy job that was! She was a little overdue so she was holding onto extra dead coat, but 3.5 hrs later and we got there.

Ts and Cs for Imogens dog grooming
Fleas & Ticks
Imogen's Dog Grooming is proud to be a tick/flea free environment. If your dog is known to have a parasitic infestation, we ask that your grooming appointment is rescheduled to a time when your pet is free from said infestation. 48 hours notice must be provided to avoid a cancelation charge. We recommend that you contact your veterinary surgeon to provide you with the best recommended treatment. If fleas are found on your dog, we will use a flea shampoo and be required to do additional disinfection of our premises and equipment. An additional £8 will be charged to your bill. If ticks are found an additional £5 will be charged to include removal. We will not be held responsible for any infection caused by the tick or removal thereof.
Timing
Imogen's Dog Grooming works to a strict time frame to ensure that your dog receives ample grooming time and one-to-one care. We expect to admit you at your given appointment time. If you are more than 20 minutes late we may have to refuse your groom on welfare grounds as rushing the groom may lead to unnecessary stress and possible injury. A fee equal to the cost of the groom will be incurred. If you are more than 30 minutes late collecting your dog a late collection charges will be incurred.
Cancellations
We require 48 hours notice for cancelled appointments or the full grooming charge will apply and must be paid in full before re-booking.
General
Imogen's Dog Grooming are unable to groom pregnant or in season bi***es. Should your Bitch be in season during the time of a pre-booked appointment 48 hours notice must be provided to avoid the cancellation charge noted above.

These will be on a first come first serve basis, please message me. I will accept new clients but please be aware I may not be able to book a future appointment until after Xmas.
Also the Christmas colognes have been opened and with this horrible cold weather, treat those doggos to a soothing, warm bath and groom and get them feeling festive 🎄

I've mentioned it before but I shall say again, if you have an entire bitch, please check to see if she's in season before a grooming appointment, as I am unable to groom them. I will be checking myself now as some people don't seem to notice.
If you turn up for an appointment and your bitch is in season, I will have to send them away and you will be charged fully for the appointment.

Bit of a late post so shall make it quick 🐾🤪 Going forward from October my working days will be Wednesday and Friday, aswell as either Tuesday OR Thursday. I'm also nearly booked up for weekends that I'm working between now and Christmas with about 5 appointments left either on a saturday/Sunday 😳🫣 so with this in mind please try and book up to Christmas (I do try and remind people when I see them) it saves any disappointment of me not having any availability. With being so busy I am having to take cancellation fees of 50% of the groom if appointments are cancelled/moved within 24hrs of the appointment as i can't always fill them that quickly. Unfortunately still unable to take new clients. Hopefully one day soon! 🐶 I miss meeting new pup faces, as lovely as it is seeing all the regular ones. APPOINTMENTS UPDATE 📣 I'm now booking for begining of June, with only one or two Saturday appointments left throughout June/July. Please dont hesitate or leave it too late to get your dogs in for a summer spruce up ☀️ For all my regulars, who come every 5,6,7,8 weekly it would be a good idea to message me and get ahead on appointments as I'm struggling to get 6 weekly appointments in and I really don't like not being able to fit people in. Thank you to everyone who has been so patient with me! Slowly getting used to juggling mum life (with a fractured foot at the moment🙃) and doing what I love with the dogs!
