OOR GARDEN - YOU’RE GARDEN - A’BODYS GARDEN.

Great feedback particularly from local Dog Walkers!

This space will continue to be improved and we’re open to suggestions. However, this space focuses on dog enrichment rather than human aesthetics (the setting should scratch that itch).

Feedback:

1. The grass was too long for wee dogs last week. The mower part arrived and the grass is back to normal.

2. Can I bring friends? - YES. As many humans as you want tbh. Why not Group up and carefully introduce your dogs to others?

3. Natural shade at all times of day - this time of year can be baking and the trees provide excellent cover.

4. Kabbalah Maze - great for recall training and obedience/heelwork.

Future additions will include a shelter and some funky dog training stations.

A little story to bring a smile.......
It's 2015, a typical day in Barking Mad land, when I go to meet a lovely lady, (who after seeing my car & a whirlwind of spaniels at Loch Leven), contacted me about wanting to be part of my Barking Mad Family.
On meeting her & her family, hearing all about their doggie experience, how they'd become guide dog puppy carers, how they'd lost their beloved Toby at such a young age 😢💔, and found parting with the guide dogs after so much time heartbreaking, I just knew they would fit right in with me & my other families 🥰.
Two days later, they had their first holiday doggie Brodie, followed by Hamish 🥰.
After several months of having munchkins on their holidays, Lynne got the news, that Nugget (their last guide dog puppy), had not quite hit the mark to become a guide dog, he was too sociable 🤣🥰......their loss was my gain.
Nugget is the most amazing boy I have the priveledge of knowing. He is the perfect holiday companion for any munchkin that'll enjoy company, he's friendly, playful, cuddly - and changes his persona to match the energy of his house guest, he really is that adorable.
So, 9 years on, I can honestly say that Lynne, Alan, Emma & Nugget, you have been with me from the beginning of my journey, we have laughed, cried, let go of the odd fart (🙈😂) - picked each other up & dusted each other off. You are a huge part of our family, my friend & we love you 🥰😘 xx

It's with a 💔 that Millie found her wings last week 🌈😢. I've known this wee t***s for 9 years & she was a huge part of the family, one of the happiest wee poppets I've had the priveledge of knowing. From her first holiday in 2015 - her last in 2024. RIP Millie-moo, you will be missed, but remembered with all the happy memories. Thinking of Millie's family at this 💔time 🐾🐾 xx
