FOR THE RECORD!

Rumours have been going around in various forms that we have strangles on our yard and we lost a horse to the disease. We would like to set the record straight for our clients and for future visitors to our yard.

We sold a pony which was tested for strangles to go to its new yard. It came back with a false positive result. Following this we shut down our yard as a precaution and tested any related ponies. Blood tests showed some exposure to the disease, however, further guttural pouch tests show a 100% negative result.

At no time did we ever have a pony with any symptoms or suffering from the disease.

We are very confident our yard is clear.
