🐶 Final Week in Brough 🐶
After a whirlwind 10 days I’ve finally got chance to reflect on my final few days of appointments. Everyone has been so lovely, with well wishes, presents and cards ❤️❤️❤️ it was incredibly kind of everyone and I feel very honoured that I was able to provide a service to as many gorgeous dogs as I have.
Thank you again, I hope to be back grooming in the near future!

🏡 I’m moving away!🏡
As the majority already know, I am due to close Ey Up Pup and move out of area in November. I’m fully booked up between now and the house move but hopefully i’ve been able to fit as many of your wonderful dogs in for their last groom with me as possible. I wanted to thank everyone for the continued support over the years, and for all the messages of luck and best wishes for our next adventure. I hope that further down the road when we’re settled in Ey Up Pup will return! I’ll try and get plenty of photos on the grid before I finish as a lovely memento for you and me! ☀️ Molly ☀️
Good golly Miss Molly was in today for a full groom. Her family have been doing a great job brushing her coat at home, there was just a few knots around where her collar and harness sits. I was able to just brush these out and keep her coat nice and full so she could keep that teddy bear appearance 🐻

🍓Alfie🍓
The sweet Alfie was in for his haircut last week. He’s a man of advanced years, so we go for a nice low maintenance haircut to keep him feeling fresh and comfortable. I went shorter on his ears to bring out his Bichon features a bit more, and I think he looks like a puppy again ❤️

🪶Fluff Drying🪶
It might be my favourite thing to do. My photos are full of pictures of dogs, post bath and pre hair cut after they’ve been thoroughly dried and brushed out. Prepping dogs coats, especially curly coats, makes up for 2/3rds of the full groom so it’s always worth taking that extra bit of time and energy making sure they’re 100% clean , dry and knot free before starting anything else.

💫 Ey Up Pup 2nd Anniversary💫
Well where did those 12 months go?!? It’s been a whirlwind and, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, thank you (thank you,
thank you) for keeping me so busy! It continues to be an enormous privilege that I do this as a job and it often means so much more. Thank you (again) to all my wonderful customers, plus friends and family for the continuing support.

🍓Bramble🍓
I loooove a cylindrical scissored leg 👌 and Bramble’s got fab pins to cut ✂️ I bathed her in forget me knots shampoo so she was smelling like a Bakewell, and the shampoo is great to loosen knots and tangles in longer coats. Bramble, despite being FULL of typical puppy enthusiasm, can be as still as a stone so is great to do some hand scissor work on her. She was looking cute as a button and finished with a spritz of peach bum spray 🍑

🌺Poppy🌺
Look how gorgeous Poppy turned out after her groom today ❤️ I tried out a new shampoo, made specifically for black coated dogs and it made her coat look like the shiniest of velvet 😍 It was the emerald black shampoo by follows by peach bum spray to get Miss Poppy smelling lovely and looking gorgeous

🚀Benny🚀
It was today, so Benny’s puppy groom was definitely well timed 👌 This guy goes from 1000miles an hour to 0 in the blink of an eye, splashing around in the bath and trying to drink the shampoo to snoozing whilst under the dryer 😴 He’s an absolute character and gives 10/10 slobbery kisses.

😛Jessie and Jasper😛
Jessie and Jasper got the memo that it was although they were a few days early as they came in last week for their grooms. Jessie had a distinctly chunky beard which really needed taking down to give this lovely lady a nice clean face. I think they both looked really smart after their full grooms, and Jasper definitely would’ve burnt some calories after practically bouncing around the groom room while waiting for Jessie to be finished. So all in all, a fab result for everyone ❤️

🥒Pickle🥒
Pickle the bundle of fun was back last week for a full groom as she was disappearing under her fringe. And as you might be able to tell from her after picture, she is one excitable girl! However, she did have a 20mins lull after her bath, while being dried she was lovely, calm and relaxed…little did I know she was just recharging her batteries ready for the next round

🌸Daisy🌸
Beautiful Daisy was in for a full groom today, and gave a Shakespearean performance when it came to her humans dropping her off 💔They really know how to make you feel bad. But within seconds of the gate closing she was trotting her way to the groom room for a spruce up. I made a time lapse video of her groom for peace of mind (which you can find on my insta) and she was 10/10 throughout.

🐭Shiva🐭
Shiva aka Minnie Mouse was back for her 4 weekly regular groom. She’s a little old lady but has a big personality. We love to keep her ears long and a Pom Pom on her tail. I used hypoallergenic shampoo which has been great at getting dogs squeaky clean without drying out coats or irritating sensitive skin. I also used peach bum spray which doesn’t have any alcohol in so is less likely to cause irritation too and left Shiva smelling like sweet orange and jasmine (…and peach). It’s always lovely when Shiva trots through the gate for her grooms ❤️

🍭Stevie🍭
The adorable Stevie was in for her first full groom today. She’s previously been in before for a mini groom to build up her confidence and tolerance so that it’s all a positive grooming experience. She did so well in the end, even tolerating endless amounts of pictures I took of her post bath and blow dry (she is the definition of FLUFF dry😂) I used hypoallergenic shampoo, maximised the floof volume with flexi slicker brush and spritzed butch leather spray to finish off. 10/10 with a rubber duck bandana from .bandannasandbows to complete the lewk 🦆
