WE ARE RECRUITING

Welcome to FJD Tyres, one of few local Family run Firms still in operation in the manufacturing sector.

Required to work in a busy factory assisting in the processing of tyres and the rubber chipping produced as a result of our recycling process.

Duties include;

Unloading vans

Examining tyres

Feeding the conveyer belt

Site maintenance

Processing waste

Support forklift manœuvres

Facory and yard maintenance

Machine/Equipment maintenance

Stock and production count

Ideal applicant must be;

Physically fit as this is a demanding and active role

Have a good understanding of health and safety requirements in a factory environment

Able to work well within a small team

Communicate clearly and effectively with others

Have experience operating Fork Lift Trucks (desirable)

Full training is provided.

We are a family run business and are able to offer a hardworking yet rewarding working environment where you will be valued as an essential team member.

Hours of work are 2.30pm - Midnight, Mon – Thurs - 40 hours per week (permanent)

28 days holiday entitlement (pro rata to start date) inclusive of bank holidays.

We require a van driver to work from base at our Kirkby in Ashfield site. Driving regionally, you will collect used passenger tyres from our customers and return them to site to be recycled.

We are a family run business who pride ourselves on providing a quality service and looking after our staff team.

Experience in driving transit vans is preferred but we are happy to train the right person. This is a physical role where loading and unloading vans is necessary and a key part of the role.

We offer time and a quarter overtime rate, which is available regularly. £11.25 per hour.
Permanent role, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
The ideal candidate must hold a full UK driving license.
