Acorn Farm offers a fun and educational day out for all the family in Kirkby, Liverpool. Meet and feed the animals, check out the 2 fun-filled play areas or take a stroll through the woodland walk. During weekends and Knowsley school holidays, horse rides and small animal petting sessions are available for a small extra charge (see below). Our animals include sheep, cows, goats, pigs, horses and c

hickens, rabbits and guinea pigs and even meerkats! We’re a working farm, so we often have baby animals including lambs, goat kids, piglets and chicks to see too. Other facilities include a cafe serving delicious home-cooked meals, farm shop selling souvenirs, refreshments and free-range home produce and a garden centre.

We are all set for our Christmas Markets this weekend! We have some amazing stalls including cakes & bakes, wreaths, tropic products, wax melts, jewellery and lots more! We have a tombola running over the weekend as well with some fantastic prizes! On Sunday we also have an amazing singer!

It is with great sadness that we let you know we have had to say goodbye to our gentle giant Jimmy
Jimmy had lost weight over the last couple of months and a visit from our vet diagnosed severe liver failure and Cushing’s disease. Jimmy deteriorated rapidly and was put to sleep yesterday.
It goes without saying that he will be very much missed, he was such a character – visitors, staff and our day service users loved him dearly, a lot of tears have been shed for Jimmy over the past few days.
