‼️IMPOTANT ANNOUNCEMENT‼️ Due to unforseen circumstances Roxie's Pet Care Service is now closed with immediate effect.

I would like to thank everyone for their support while we have been on our dog boarding journey and I am heartbroken to have to make this announcement. I have messaged everyone who had booked with me up until October but if I have missed someone please pop me a message.

‼️ ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 2025 ‼️

I have been putting this off since I made my final decision in May, but I can't avoid it anymore!

Due to personal circumstances I will be closing my business this November. It has been a decision I've not taken lightly but I have to do what's best for me.

I would like to thank everyone who has helped my business grow successfully. It has been an amazing almost most 2 years and I have met the most loving dog lovers and had the pleasure of caring for a lot of dogs and they all hold a special place in my heart. I would say this has been one of the best chapters of my life and not one I will ever forget. I am closing my business on a high and my advice to anyone who is thinking about dog boarding........DO IT!

We got Mushu dropped off yesterday 😍 this boy loves to shout at me.....as soon as he walked in the door lol He doesn't do much when I'm home with him but when Allannah comes home from school he comes to life lol its so cute! This morning he jumped out of my bed and into Allannahs for a hug lol adorable! We went to the park tonight and where ever she went he followed 😘 Mushu is with us until Wednesday and he's settled straight back in 🩵

Look who I have tonight......wee Dexter (and his pig) I love love love this wee guy he has some character and I swear he's part human.....he just understands what your saying! He's been helping me out in the garden tonight then decided it was his duty to stand on the sofa looking out the window barking at anything going past lol he is hilarious 😂 note to self.........mind and hide that pig at bed time! Lol 🐾 😂 😍🐕🐖🤣 (he's like a real life teddy bear, he hugs you like a human would its soooo sweet!)

It's our last night with Jaxx. Over the last few days he's has came out of his shell more and more. He's had us in stitches and his confidence has grown to the point I now get to go to the bathroom alone because he's comfortable waiting in the livingroom for me which he wasn't doing 2 days ago. I am so proud of this big dude 🐕🐾❤️😘😍

We still have Jaxx and he goes home on Tuesday. Jaxx is the strongest dog I've had and the most anxious. I've had to work hard all week to gain his trust. I took him for a walk on Monday and he was so anxious he pulled me all the way home. I felt it wasn't safe for him and I to walk around my area as he was really anxious. He didn't go in the back garden so I started off using the lead and he walked around the garden and today he is going out without the lead but he still needs me beside him, but it's a big step not having his lead on. He wasn't eating but he's now eating all his meat but I'm having to spoon feed him (which he's loving lol) he's really calm when the blinds are closed and doors are closed and the TV is on as he can't see anyone outside therefor isn't getting anxious. From Monday to today he came out of his shell so much and he's even been really playful and mischievous today which I am loving seeing that side to him. He's sleeping all night aslong as he can touch me but if I move he moves lol he has been stuck to me like glue (i love a sooky dog lol) He's always loved Allannah and he's playful with her and when she's in her room he goes up and down to check on her. You would expect for the size of him for people to be scared of him but in reality he's scared of them! Bless him 😍❤️🐾🐕

We have the big boy Jaxx until next Tuesday. He is a big boy but he's a big softy! I've had a bath of kisses lol 😆 he's slowly coming our his shell but it does usually take a dog a few days to settle and this is the first time he had stayed here (I have had him for a few hours here and there previously) his wee brother Buster isn't staying with him this time so he may feel a bit lost without him. I am sure when Allannah is in from school he will be her best friend. She is amazing with all the dogs and they have all been amazing with her 😍 I cannot wait for bedtime to get cuddles (I might only get a quarter of the bed but I'm happy with that 😊

We now have Alfie for one night. He is huge but adorable! He doesn't like laminate flooring so to get him from the living room to the kitchen I have had to put towels down so he can walk on them bless him! How gorgeous is he though 😍

Milo and Marley went home on Monday morning and we were sad to see them go home! Milo had a good birthday I got him treats and a bone bless him. Milo is trained really well and I know he can take socks off and jumpers off humans so I got him to take Allannahs socks off and she was amazed lol 😆 I will post the video next

We have Milo (lab) and Marley for the weekend. The boys are so sweet and loves cuddles. I think Milo has missed me because all he has done is follow me about and bring me presents bless him lol Marley is just so small I forget he's here at times as he's so quiet 🤫 let's see what we can get upto this weekend 😍🐾🐕

I got super lonely when the boys went home so I walked round and stole Duke lol I am keeling him until Monday 🐾🐕❤️ I missed him so much. We have been on a rainy walk up dunnikeir and then to the shop for loads of goodies for us, he's helped me mop the floors (chasing the mop like a mad man pmsl) now he wants to fight me lol I just know I am going to wake up tomorrow covered in bruises with him fighting me lol (play fighting ofcourse lol)

It's been eventful the last few days and the boys have kept me on my toes lol Ronnie likes to roll in things! Tonight he came in covered in p**p! Straight into the shower he went and then I just showered rusty too because he looked like he was missing out lol yesterday Ronnie decided to play hide and seek! I couldn't find him anywhere! I thought he had gotten under my fence lol just as I was about to go out the living room door I noticed something move in the corner of my eye and yep there he was laying behind the curtain lol he wouldn't even respond to my name lol Rusty has been good he just follows me everywhere and barks as he's a bit more anxious than Ronnie (Ronnie is the smallest of the 2 but he ain't scared of nothing no matter the size lol) 2 more nights left then the boys go home 💔 but we do see them again at the end of the year 🥰😍🐕🐾🐕🐾

Dexter went home on Sunday morning and Bitsy went home Sunday night then mushu got dropped off Sunday night. Mushu goes home tomorrow night. He is a big softy and apart from him shouting me time to time you wouldn't know he was here lol I love how I just look at him and say u OK and he wags his tail while keeping his eyes closed. 🥰😍🐕🐾

I've also been spending some time with my hairy brother Duke and he's had a few sleepovers with us. He is now 1 and getting so big. He loves to fight with me and rip holes in my hoodies lol brothers are annoying I suppose lol also seen my hairy nephew Simba. They are both coming on so well 😍🥰😘

I have not updated everyone in a few months! Ain't these months just flying by! We have been quiet January and February we had the odd dog for a night here and there and we've had a few meet and greets. As always I love meeting new dogs. Today we had Fynn for some day care. Fynn is a lab dalmatian cross and his coat is like silk! The poor wee chap really didn't enjoy being away from his home and needed a lot of reassurance and cuddles and about 10 minutes before he went home he stopped crying and wanted to play lol 😆 🐕🐾

We still have the boys and this is there last night unfortunately. They have been really good and so funny. I've had my neice the last few nights and she adores them and they adore her! She has been playing with Milo and giving Marley lots of cuddles......he's a right wee sook lol Marley has chosen to sleep on the sofa the last few nights so I've left him to it but Milo is still sleeping next to me with himself all snuggled into me. I am going to try and get a picture tonight as he is like a wee child lol Milo always brings me gifts lol I go to the bathroom he brings me a Teddy, I go upstairs to get something and come back down and he's all happy shaking his bum whilst holding a Teddy in his mouth lol adorable! 🐾🐕🐕🐾❤️

We picked up Milo and his brother Marley yesterday. The boys have settled in really good, I have had Milo before but not Marley and I'm starting to see why Marley shouts at Milo all the time lol Milo steals his toys, food and attention and the wee man just loses it lol 😆 we are having such a laugh 😃 yes the living room has Teddy stuffing everywhere but they are having lots of fun 😀 😄

We have Jaxx today for doggy day care. He goes homes tonight. We have not seen Jaxx since about April so he was a bit nervous to begin. We got him into the house and he's settled right back in. He loves Allannah and always sits next to her (on my sear lol) I've been booted to the other couch lol he comes over every so often and gives me a kiss bless him. He is just adorable! We get him next year for his first sleepover with us and we cannot wait! ❤️🐕🐾

What a busy quick week it has been! I swear I blinked and now tomorrow is Christmas eve!! Mia and Star went home today and they were so happy to see there dad lol we did have a lot of fun with these 2 lol 😆 that's me off to have a few days to myself and I will return on the 28th when I have Jaxx ♥️ I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and give your dogs a hug from me 🐕🐾♥️
