❓With a fun packed day planned, we are looking for recommendations for dog first aid and dog show judges (all in good fun). We'd love to have a display with scent workers and demonstrations throughout the day to show just how brilliant dogs are!

👨🏼‍🌾 Position: Gardener (Full-time or Part-time)
📍 Location: Pathhead Farm, Kirriemuir, Angus.

Responsibilities:
Maintain garden and public areas.
Glasshouse and polytunnel growing.
Fruit and vegetable production for our on-site cafe.
Handle some external landscaping and planting.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Engage with the public and bring creative planting ideas.

Requirements:
Would require some working knowledge. Well set up garden within Pathhead farm. Garden, polytunnel and glasshouse to be maintained. Ability to work under own initiative and within a team.
Driving licence is essential.
Some college is useful but a good working history is more important.

Be like Daisy, and please dig in the sandpit. Please don't let your dog dig holes in the ground.
⚠️ We are planning to temporarily close the dog park in the coming months for maintenance. The recent thaw has exaggerated the need for more drainage on site. We will keep you posted on the expected closure date.

⛔ This is a very stern plea to watch your speed when entering and leaving the farm to access the dog park.
We have kids, ponies and dogs, coming and going regularly. Before there is an accident, please make sure you drive VERY slowly, with consideration when entering and leaving the farm.
It's 5 MPH for a reason.

🐾 We are a relatively new dog park, in Kirriemuir, Angus. Full of fun activities for you and your dog to enjoy.
☕We also have an onsite cafe. Ideal for ordering a hot cuppy to take with you while in the safety of our park.

Some of the main benefits of allowing your dog to run freely, in a secure area -
🐶Running off-lead allows dogs explore their surroundings at their own pace. They can burn off energy in a way that regular walks or leashed runs often can't provide.
🐶This can, amongst other things, help prevent obesity, heart disease, and other health problems.
🐶Using a dog park, like ours, is an ideal space to practice recall. No matter how young or old your dog is. Good recall is for their safety and your peace of mind.
