Meet Solen, Age: 25 years old and he is 15.3hh
Breed: Irish Sports Horse
Colour: Dark Bay

Solen is on working livery at Pathhead. He is owned by Michelle, one of our coaches. She has been his owner for 20 years, mainly competing in Show Jumping around Scotland (including stable doors)🙈. He now lives a comparatively quieter life in the riding school passing on his knowledge. He may be an older gent but it certainly doesn't slow him down!

TUESDAY 1st April we have availability with Diana Zajda! 6-7pm and 7-8pm.

Pathhead ponies are available to use if needed 😊

Diana has worked in riding schools and is therefore happy to work with a real variety of riders whether young or old, novice or advanced.

She evented to the old 3* level and coaches show jumping and cross country but nowadays most people see her as a dressage coach.

She competed her own horse very successfully to advanced medium level and qualified on numerous occasions for the BD National Championships.

She has her BDCC3 and is a level 3 BD dressage judge.

We are so lucky to have her come to Pathhead so make the most of it! Get in touch to book now!

🐴Pathhead pony of the week🐴

Meet Mazurka, she is 13 years old.
Height: 14hh
Breed: Connemara
Colour: Grey (born Dun)

Mazurka has lived at Pathhead for around 10 years. She has mainly done hacking and endurance riding but does enjoy to pop a wee jump now and again! Maz had a break from her work to have a baby in June 2023 (watch this space for Mazurka's son Malarkey's pony of the week).

🦄Dressage this Sunday (23rd Mar)🦄

Only 1 day left to book in for Sundays Dressage Competition.
We are running 2 classes:

Intro 2 (under 16's)

Intro 2 (16 and overs)

Prelim 1 and Novice 1 can be entered as a 'schooling session' with will still be marked by our judges but not placed. A great opportunity to practice!

🚜 The last couple of days Allan and Kris have been working on the schooling surfaces. Outside is silica sand and inside is a mix of sand and carpet fibre which was pulled to the surface then mulched up with the rotavator and finally graded and leveled with the chain harrows.
