Hi, this coming week is my last working week until 2025. As you can imagine I am extremely busy with early morning starts and late night finishes all week.

❗️please can I ask that you arrive on time for your scheduled appointment and collect at the agreed time given❗️

This week I can’t be as flexible with the above issue like normal as I simply do not have the time.

If you are late dropping off there may be a chance I won’t have time to groom your pooch and you will have to re-arrange for the new year.
This will be an awkward situation for me to be in as its not something I would usually do. I’m such a people pleaser and sometimes I can’t say no but this week I will have no choice other than to. 🙈
This will also very frustrating to you.
That being said please give yourself plenty of time incase you are coming in peak time traffic or incase you hit temporary traffic lights.

So sorry for the morbid post on a Sunday and the run up to Christmas but I need this week to run as smoothly as possible 🎄 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

Hi everyone, I am now fully booked for 2024. All of my appointments have now gone.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support and keeping me in business.
All of the dogs I groom are such a pleasure to have in my care and I couldn’t have done it without you all.

My diary for 2025 is open and I will be taking on a few new clients.

I will be off from the 20th of December and back working on the 3rd of January however I have no availability until the 6th of January.

During this time off I will be turning my work phone off and muting my messenger until I am back working but don’t worry all messages will be responded to.

If you need to move your appointment this will be for the new year. If this is the case please give me as much notice as possible.

We’ve just had this stray dog brought to the Hady practice after being found around the Storforth Lane area. Please contact us if you’re the owner on 01246 222232.

Incident Update 10.00 hours – Milton Place,

Firefighters from Staveley, Chesterfield and Nottingham Road, supported by an aerial ladder platform (ALP) remain on scene and are continuing to extinguish the fire.

We are working with partner agencies including the Environment Agency on site and are expected to remain there for the rest of the day.

Fire crews were originally called to the fire at 19.56 hours yesterday (Sunday 22 September).

Upon arrival, they discovered a pile of tyres well alight.

Residents are advised to keep windows and doors closed in the local area whilst crews tackle the fire.

Hi everyone, me again. I currently have lost pressure in my groom room and with the trickle of water I do have I have no hot water at the moment. I can only assume it’s due to the hoses coming off the mains still from the fire. Updates will be given as to when it’s back up and running.

Morning everyone- following the fire last night, us, our dogs and bunnies are safe.

Grooms are still going ahead today. There is still smoke coming from the fire site however luckily it’s not blowing towards my groom room.

‼️ I hate to mention Christmas however above is 23 available slots until the busiest period for dog groomers.
Please book in for the rest of the year where possible. Looking through my diary after next month majority of my regulars only have 1 more appointment booked or none at all 🙈

If your dog is booked in every
4 weeks - this is only 4 appointments for the rest of the year.

6 weeks - this is only 2 appointments, 3 appointments if you wish to have one before Christmas.

8 weeks - 2 appointments. The 2nd appointment will fall on a week that is almost full.

Please message me if you wish to book in also for my December availability.
I do break up on the 21st of December until the 3rd of January.

Good morning everyone 👋

Thank you to everyone who has been so understanding regarding re arranging appointments this last week. I do have a few people to message I haven’t forgot.

Unfortunately last week just got worse regarding the health of my dogs.

Rubble who had the operation is recovering very well from his operation. We are still waiting for some lab results to come back regarding the tissues that were sent off.

We then had to go for a simple appointment of a**l glands and a hot spot that teddy our beagle had developed.
Unfortunately whilst speaking to the vet she decided to check him over. She could feel something not right in his abdomen.

Monday he had some scans and tests which showed a large liver which has caused his spleen to flip over it.
Following the results they have diagnosed him with lymphoma.

Me and Joe have had to make the worst decision anyone would have to make for their pet 😞
We have decided the treatment is far to invasive for him and decided we won’t be putting him through it.
We don’t want to spend the very little time we have left with him having him recovering from multiple surgeries etc when he could be well enough at the minute to continue living his life.

As you can imagine this is a big shock to us, I am so upset.
I am posting on here as in the near future I may have to take a little time off which will not be planned and I wanted to give you the heads up.

Hi everyone, thank you all for your kind messages regarding our poorly pooch Rubble.

We’ve had a couple of restless nights as he really won’t settle with the cone of shame. This face is how he will sit and stare at me 🤦‍♀️😅 poor boy, but it is for his benefit ( I just wish he understood that)

He is up and moving around, on and off with his food but drinking nicely. We are also still waiting for a 💩.

Overall he is doing well and it will just take a bit of time for him to heel.
Back at the vets Monday for them to check him back over and still waiting for the results from the tissues they have sent off to the labs.
