Fireworks can be stressful for our furry friends, so here are some tips to keep them calm and cosy:

🛏 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲: Set up a quiet, comfy area with their favourite bed or blankets to help them feel secure.

🏠 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 & 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄𝘀: Keep doors and windows shut to muffle noise and prevent escape attempts. Close the curtains to block out sudden flashes of light.

🎶 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰: Play calming music or white noise to mask loud sounds.

This week was pet obesity awareness day. If your pet has an injury, they may exercise less as they need to rest. This can lead to weight gain. Of course, it's important that joints don't seize up and get stiff so when they can move again.
