Paws A While was born from our love of animals & worrying about our dogs - when we couldn't make the odd walk or be at home with them. We love the 'pack' like our own & will give them the kind of care they deserve. If you're not able to walk your best friend, we'll take them out come rain or shine. It's a proper dog walk in every sense of the word. For some it's a sniff & a mooch as they take thei

r time enjoying the outdoors. For others it's a full on 'dog adventure' that's needed & they want the high pace around the woods and across the hills. For others it's somewhere in between, and that's just fine. There's no route march across concrete with us. We wholeheartedly believe that dogs should socialise with others and enjoy buddy walks. We work with them to achieve this and also offer help with separation anxiety when they're away from you. Quite a few of our pups had these issues and are now living the dream, off lead and happily playing with their dog buddies. You can even see how they're doing with regular updates & photos/videos, 'pupdates' are always loved. It could be you need us regularly or maybe a one off, we understand life can throw us a curve ball... or stick. :)

If you're going out for the day, we'll call in to check on them/go for walks/have playtime or maybe they need a loo break and a fuss, however often you wish. Whilst we don't offer overnight stays, we walk them if they're staying somewhere else, local to Knighton, or cover the daily walks while someone else is staying at night. Do you remember my slightly secretive post last weekend that Graham and I were walking Otis & Lenny?
I can now share why.
Their wonderful humans Caroline & Rob got married.
After looking very handsome in their tuxedos for the ceremony, Otis & Lenny went for a leg stretch while the wedding party continued to look fabulous and celebrate.
After a good clean up, the pups went back and joined in.
Congratulations!
We wish you a lifetime of happiness and good health together. 💗

Wee Hamish met MacDuff this morning and realised he wasn’t the only Scottie in the world* - In the knowledge of his new found brotherhood he went a bit daft.

When I’m not trying to avoid zooming dogs I have to watch those sticks. Some of them have become experts at the whack on the back of the legs. 🙈

Oh Mademoiselle Flourette. 🥰 You make our hearts soooo happy. Little Flo is deaf and so has a long line to join her buddies on walks. Today, she went free range to stretch those lovely legs. Her friends loved it and ran with her. Go go go Flo! 💕
