It was always a hit at the high society balls in Knutsford years ago and still a story told today oy…. We see The Moor is getting a trim this morning. Can’t beat a lovely rainy morning, while the grass is getting cut. The smells for the dogs are simply amazing and it just can’t help but put a smile on your face. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐕🐕🐕🐶🐶🐶💙💙💙💕💕💕

Looking for a lovely 45min dog friendly walk, just a short distance from Knutsford why not woof to Shakerley Mere. It is a lake and recreation area near Allostock. The mere is a former sand quarry, which flooded after extraction ended in the 1960s. Roughly triangular and has lots of different variations if you fancy extending your walk a little further and make it longer!

Let us introduce DOUBLE TROUBLE BONNIE & BRUNO age 7 months old. A big huge welcome to our family . Its so much fun already with these crazies around. What can we tell you in our first week…. Bonnie says “we are absolute mischief but so delightful, bouncy and full of beans”. Bruno chips in and says “We are extremely friendly and outgoing, playful, busy, eager to please and super curious about this doggy world”. They both said together “We just want to be friends with everyone”. WATCH OUT FOR CUDDLES IF YOU SEE US AROUND!!!!

Big shout out to our poorly Claude. Our Claude has been for an operation on his tail yesterday due to a growth on his waggly tail. The good news is his tail and smile are still in tact. Thank goodness. He just needs lots of wooffles and woofs to make him feel better from him mummy . We woof you so much Claudie Boy 🐶❤️🥰🥰

A huge well done to Ollie today. After a month of training to recall, going from a short lead to being on a 10 meter lead, to being challenged to a recall without it……… Not only did he pass with flying colours, but also enjoyed a day out with Claude and Nero The Bassets saying “look at me boys I feel as free as a bird and nothing is going to stop me now, now what mischief can we get up too”. 🤔 What a proud moment for our beautiful and crazy Lab. Hands off to you Ollie. Big woofs and wags from all . We are super proud of you, keep going 🐶 🐕 ❤️🥰###xx

A big shout out to our HUNTER who is just totally adorable, such a happy, playful and full of fun little lad, who is now part of our family . Hunter is the baby of who is just a wee 10 weeks yesterday. He is full of life and already a show off and never ever stops wagging, not afraid of anything. He can read people well already and is defiantly a foodie and totally enjoys a dog friendly roast 🍗, Hunter can also talk without being distracted, its just how he likes to work. We just woof you already. Woofs & Wags 🐶🐕xx

Can you help?
Manchester Dogs' Home in Harpurhey is in desperate need of a good facelift!
The grounds and home have been a little neglected of late, and we are in need of your help! If you could spare maybe just an hour or two to help tidy up the place we would be very grateful. Things we need help with are just general cleaning, litter picking, gardening and painting. All materials will be provided. (Although if you do happen to have a jet washer that you could bring, that would be amazing, we only have 2)

We are holding the volunteer weekend 31st Apr- 1st May.
Hot tea and coffee will be available all day, thank you for your support 🥰
