For what it’s worth here are few thoughts on how to best look after your rugs:
* Do up your Velcro straps when not in use - this will stop hay and other debris getting stuck in it and definitely will make it last longer!
* Don’t leave them lying around wet in a heap - mould is not a rug’s friend! Hang them up to dry (or even better leave them on the horse to dry unless soaked through)
* Leaving turnout rugs on when stabled over night might seem easier but just ends up with poo/wee stained turnouts - these are much harder to get clean than a stable rug.
* Rather than big heavy turnouts use lighter ones with liners or light weight stable rugs on underneath when needed - they are so much easier to handle especially with big horses!
* If you horse comes in with a rug caked in wet mud rinse the rug off with a hose on the horse and leave to dry.

Due to a few non payers I’m afraid that unless you are a business then I’m going to have to insist on payment BEFORE I return your rugs by bank transfer or cash on the day (bank transfers are always preferred). Sorry but I have bills of my own to pay and don’t have the time to keep chasing. Thank you for your understanding (and big thanks to the vast majority of my lovely customers who always pay me on time - it really is appreciated).
