Initiate Impact Flyball Team

Had the cutest boxloader at training today 🥰

Awesome day at Killie Orange Fest! Starting with our baby dogs Buffy, Willow and Tiesto, Buffy done some lovely full runs head to head against Logan as well as some crossing work at the end of the day and by god did this girl rock it! Next up is spotty brain Willow this girl just brings a smile to everyone whenever she enters the ring Willow has finally connected the spots 🙈 and has decided that she can take the ball and turn beautifully with 4 feet not long until she goes onto the box, next up is another dog that struggles with brain engagement Tiesto he stepped into the LL singles for the first time on Sunday and to say his dad didn’t have his hopes high was an understatement but Tiesto proved that he can stay focused and by his last run he done a full run with a lovely box turn high hopes for this wee boy if we can get more than 30 seconds of brain power 😂 Saturday we had Full Force (Logan, Rusk, Hoax and Kara) run NFC to work out some kinks, each of them worked on their own wee issues and even with being NFC they had some lovely times on the clock! Saturday also had our LL dogs Ciri, Motsi, Brodhi and Yami - unfortunately these guys missed out on placing with Yami deciding that flyball is a part time sport and you get to choose when to participate 🙈 but Ciri, Brodhi and Motsi were amazing lovely turns and tighter crosses watch this space for the future 👀 Sunday seen us take Xtreme Impact - Rosie, Winston, Stix, Breagha and Mickey - take to the ring they raced hard against some fast clean teams and came away with a 4th but most importantly the experience Rosie took some tight crosses from little Winston and both dogs thrived together, Mickey is settling well into the Initate family and Breagha just blew our socks off running most of the day covering for Stix who unfortunately had be pulled 😞

With champs fast approaching (4 days!) we’d like to introduce you to our teams so without further ado……. Introducing Full Force Impact 🤩 First up is Boss handled by Suzie this boy is a force to be reckoned with with the loudest voice on the team Boss just loves to make himself known Next up is the boy who thinks flyball is a lying down sport going down the lanes at a million miles an hour Rusk handled by Lucas are a brilliant pair to watch Lucas definitely has his work cut out for him and Rusk makes him work for it Third dog is our favourite stooge dog Logan handled by Tiegan this boy is finally finding his feet and showing his speed getting sub 4s with his favourite young handler our Logan brings the experience to the team And lastly our wee patt Kara by god this girl gives everyone a laugh when it comes to taking her tuggy away 🙈 Kara gives racing her all and by god her wee legs move!

Star Wars Day!! The force was strong with our Team dogs Kara, Winston, Boss, Vogue, Logan and Rusk who came away with another First 🥇🥇 and a .01 away from breakout 🙈 these guys are really gelling as a team 👏🤩 Our little league team of Rosie, Breagha, Brodhi, Sorsch, Stix, and Yami placed 2nd with a few spits we still had 11 clean runs!! These guys are definitely progressing and really getting into racing the other lane! Our little Rosie has by far found her mojo as a start dog! We loved seeing her get so excited to race the other lane. Little boy hoax is getting to grips with tuffspun and managed a 4.14 l2l we know he has more to give but every step is progress!

Saturday we took one League team, one Little League and 3 PCs to Errol Our League team consisting of Boss, Logan, Vogue, Winston, Kara and Rusk. This was a team of first!! With both Kara and Rusk making their open debut. Our wee Kara after a few spits enjoyed her open racing debut and ran paw perfect and was even awarded the Quinn Award!! there’s plenty more in the tank from this wee girl and we cannot wait to see her confidence continue to grow and help us get those 16s!! Rusk also made his open debut and boy can this dog run! Running consistent sub 4s and a PB of 3.82 this boy is just an absolute force to be reckoned with now Craig just needs to work on his crosses 🙈 As always Boss, Logan, Vogue and Winston were our solid dogs who do their jobs every leg no matter what they run consistent every time and together these guys went and bagged a 1st!!! 🥇 With a new team time of 17.78!!!!! Those 16s are close and we will get them! Our Little League team Rosie, Brodhi, Breagha, Stix, Saoirse. This was Saoirse first time racing in Little League and boy did she prove that she can race! Rosie our wee diva dog is just blowing us away with how she’s settled into becoming a racing girl this wee Madame is ready for league so eyes peeled for her open debut very very soon 👀 Stix our gobby Aussie we hope will be back racing in the lanes just need to get the bum up boy 😂 Breagha decided that flyball is a walking sport 🤣 so back to the drawing board, Brodhi 🤦‍♀️ apparently Brodhi realised that the other lane has tennis balls but he made some good choices and to prove a point to the big dogs these guys went and also got a 1st 🥇 PC dogs Willow, Hoax, Ciri and Motsi with golden oldie Kenya stooging. It was Willows first time in a flyball ring and her spotty brain was fully engaged in the sport and we even got her first turn on the box!! Hoax is ready for racing if it wasn’t on that pesky tuffspun 😂 a little more confidence in the pc ring shoul
