Looking to Rehome - Looking for a 5* home for Havana. He's a 16hh, 9yo bay TB gelding. Havana was sadly retired from racing last summer due to an injury to his right hock. He would make a superb companion horse or happy hacker/pleasure ride. He has a lovely nature and has been used as a companion for 2yos. Very easy to do. Good for farrier, vet, worming etc... UP to date with teeth and vaccinations. Home will be vetted so please only contact if you can offer him a forever loving home. Coltherd Racing are seeking for a full time stable lad / lass & amateur jockey to join our existing team in a growing yard located in the Scottish Borders. Ideally to have had experience in racing or other competitive equine sphere but not essential.

The job would include :-

🐴 Riding out on a daily basis

🧹 Basic yard duties

🐎 Chance to go racing

Accommodation available 🏡

Start 1st July

Rates of pay per NASS agreement.

West End Lady - 8yo 16.1hh bay mare. Westy is a lovely lass who is pretty much ready to get on with her new life. She picked up a small tendon injury last May and has had all the time she needs to come back as good as new. Obviously having been out of work for a year she will need brought back in slowly starting with plenty of walking before starting to trot mid-May. Westy is good to do in all ways and would love a confident, quiet rider to bring out the best in her, she just worries sometimes and needs her hand held. She will make someone an amazing all rounder. At the moment she is fat and hairy from having lived out all winter. £2500. Not sure why she hasn't had anyone come to see her yet as she really is a great horse and will make someone the perfect partner.
