🌟 MEET THE INSTRUCTOR 🌟

Have you entered for our club day on Sunday 8th of September at The Scottish National Equestrian Centre?

We are delighted to have Emily Stewart from E-quus Equestrian Services and Massage Therapy joining us to offer flatwork lessons in the PM.

Here’s a little more about Emily:

Emily is a fully qualified British Horse Society accredited professional coach as well as a certified equine massage therapist. She studied Equine Studied at SRUC Oatridge for 3 years, then moved onto work as an international show groom in Germany and is now yard manager at SRUC alongside running her own business -quus equestrian services and massage therapy. She specialises in positive training methods for both horse and rider and loves to incorporate her knowledge from her years of being an equine massage therapist in lessons. She recently taught alongside Alison at their confidence camp at SNEC where everyone thoroughly enjoyed their day.

We are delighted to be welcoming Alison Buchan BHSAI -Coaching to our club day on Sunday 8th September at The Scottish National Equestrian Centre!

Alison will be teaching group jumping lessons in the morning - spaces still available!

If you are local to West Lothian you most likely know Alison from her very successful ‘Jumping for Confidence’ clinics she holds at SNEC on a regular basis, however here is some more information:

Alison is a fully qualified BHSAI and UKCC level 2 instructor. She previously owned a riding school for 7 years and now works part time at SRUC teaching the students and also freelance teaching at her yard at home in Forth. She specialises in building confidence over jumps and loves helping people enjoy jumping again. Her monthly “jumping for confidence” clinics are popular for those jumping x-poles up to 1m plus. She also showjumps herself and her current horse Rocky is jumping 1.10m at BSJA shows 🤩

Why not make a day of it? Have a lesson with Alison in the AM and stay for our show jumping competition in the PM!

**Saturday 3rd August**

NEW opportunity at SNEC to work on the basics and aid your confidence in your riding. The day will involve a flatwork lesson from Emily Stewart, our experienced stables manager and qualified BHS Stage 3 coach, and a jumping lesson from Alison Buchan (BHSAI), one of our monthly clinic coaches and regular British Showjumping competitors.

Over the lunch break, there will be opportunity to assess your balance and straightness on our new mechanical horse - RoboCob! There will also be a talk from Emily, who is a qualified Equestrian Massage Therapist, to give you insight into the importance of these treatments and what they could do for your horse.

The aim of the day is to give an all round training opportunity to boost you and your horses confidence!

**Monday 24th June**

Alison is providing lessons to improve your confidence over fences and help you to enjoy your jumping! She is a fully qualified BHSAI (which includes UKCC Level 2) and competes at BSJA level regularly (British Showjumping).

£35 per person. Small groups (max 4) in relaxed atmosphere. She is happy teaching any level, from beginner to more advanced.
