Fylde Council's Leader, Karen Buckley, encourages residents to register with the Planning Inspectorate before the 23:59 deadline on 27 January 2025:

"This infrastructure project is the largest we've seen in Fylde and yet it will be determined remotely by the Planning Inspectorate and signed off by the Secretary of State. It is so important that local voices are heard. Please register to have your say by the deadline of midnight on 27 January so that you can raise concerns on how the cabling corridor will affect where you live. Fylde Council's response will be informed by a cross-party working group of Fylde Councillors to capture representation from across the borough, but please take this opportunity to register your own statement on the impact it will have on your daily life and livelihood. You will be able to submit further comments during the examination of the application once you have registered."
