We’ve certainly kickstarted 2024 with a bang here at Angstrom Technology! Here is just some of the work we’re undertaking so far this year:

🤝 Projects
Our projects team are hard at work nearing completion on the following projects:
📍264sqm ISO class 7 cleanroom in Southern Ireland
📍116sqm ISO class 8 cleanroom, with temperature control, also in Southern Ireland

We are delighted to have won the following projects in January and are already starting work on:
📍25sqm Hardwall ISO class 8 cleanroom for a Hydrogen fuel company
📍18sqm Hardwall ISO class 8 cleanroom for a returning customer in Gloucestershire
📍21sqm Monobloc ISO class 6 cleanroom for a UK Science Park

👩🏼‍🏫 Training
We delivered an on-site training day to 6 delegates, for a UK-based pharmaceutical company in the Northwest of England.

👨🏻‍💻 Validation
In January, we were appointed to complete the following validation projects:
📍Validating 8 separate cleanrooms for a life sciences company in Scotland, all being validated to ISO classification
📍Validating, again to ISO classification, for a company that operates in the battery technology industry in the South of England
📍Requalification for a pharmaceutical facility in Staffordshire, which will be certified to GMP classification

🧼 Cleanroomshop
🪑We delivered a £150k furniture fit-out for a company operating in the technology industry, based in the South of England consisting of a mixture of Trespa and stainless-steel cleanroom furniture, including lockers, tables, racking, shoe storage and waste bins.

🪑We also completed an £11.5k furniture fit-out for an electronics company in the Northeast of England, which included a range of Bimos chairs, stainless steel waste bins, transport trolleys, tables and racking.

We hosted several CPD-certified training days throughout November at our Lancaster offices. Welcoming businesses from across the UK, it’s always an enriching day for our team to knowledge-share and assist attendees in giving them the confidence to work efficiently and effectively within cleanroom environments.

🌏 Precision Fair & Advanced Engineering Expo
In November we attended not one, but two exhibitions. Advanced Engineering Expo was held at the NEC in Birmingham, and Precision Fair was held in The Netherlands.

Both events proved to be a huge success for our teams, and we look forward to attending more events in 2024!

👏🏼 Good Documentation Practice (GDocP) Training
Last but not least and as mentioned above, we launched our brand-new Good Documentation Practice Training course in November. Aimed at those responsible for the cleaning and/or maintenance of GMP cleanrooms, this course is to help attendees understand what Good Documentation Practice is, why it is required and how non-compliance can impact end products.

The Great C2C Bake Off 🍰
Each year, our charity team run a Bake Off event in support of Macmillan Cancer Support charity. This year, in a nod to our friends at Angstrom Technology - Your Cleanroom Experts, the theme was “American traybake”!
With Rebecca as our host, our judges Graham, Laura, and Simon, judged on appearance, taste and theme. We had some fantastic entries, but it was Joan who clinched the win with her “Blonde Bombshell Pecan Pie” bake.
