As regular visitors to The Gregson Centre for many years, enjoying gigs, great beer and lovely grub... This project has been close to our hearts and it has been a real delight working with the fabulous team, and Bulb Creative Studio on their new website.

Community Led – Community Owned. In a world that seems increasingly disconnected, where more people feel isolated and where community can seem in decline, the Gregson is a beacon of hope.

Their mission is for people to be in the driving seat of their community events and cultural experiences. The Gregson believes it is critical that the community has a place to come together. Another one from the archives. We put together this website for Nelson Thomlinson School in Wigton, back in 2023. The team wanted a new website that really reflected the outstanding principles of their school. It was also really important to them that it would be easy for them to add and edit content to the site themselves. We took all of this in to consideration, did our thing, and this was the final result!

We've been working closely with Sensible Choice Technology for a decade now (since before Surf Up was founded) and they have always been our go-to Office Technology providers.

New website just launched for KWAA (Kent Westmorland Angling Association), one of the oldest fishing clubs in the UK. Founded in 1848, they control and manage 8 miles of game fishing on the beautiful River Kent and coarse fishing on Killington Reservoir.

The club manages and promotes conservation and fish care, recommending catch and release, barbless hook fishing, and have been promoting conservation for over 100 years on the River Kent.

Another favourite from the archives... Back in 2021 we built this website for Carlisle Matters.

At the Heart of the Community, Carlisle Matters support local Community Centres, and a Community Organisation, within both the City of Carlisle and the wider Carlisle District. Running in parallel with the Lottery funding, Carlisle Matters has also been integral in supporting the various communities within the Carlisle District with issues surrounding children’s holiday activities, youth provision, food security, social isolation, and many other pertinent problems.

Our friends at The New Union Kendal were recently mentioned in The Times' article on the Best Places to Live 2024, naming Kendal as one of the best places to live... And we couldn't agree more!

If you're a local craft beer fan, or maybe you're into your whisky and rum, then you should definitely pay The New Union a visit... They've won a bunch of awards, they put on great live music, are super dog friendly and they stock the largest selection of whisky in Cumbria (over 170 of them!)
